Interim Chief Chandler has been in this position for about 18 months while he has applied to become Suffolk Chief no decision has been as of today. This is our second time having him on our podcast. Chandler has been in law enforcement for 22 years and has been a police officer, detective, hostage negotiator, and etc. therefore; his experience makes him qualified for the position. During his time at the department The Explorer Program is within good standing, National Night Out, as well as a few other programs. Officers do wear body cameras and they are activated with certain movements to reduce human error. With his leadership it allows us as citizens to see that they are actually human beings and they do make mistakes. When asked what can police officers do to make the citizens feel comfortable with officer’s “transparent, communication, purchasing footballs, basketballs and soccer balls to the kids within the neighborhoods, attend civic league, home owners associations, going to events among other things”. We also were informed tonight that Va. isn’t a stand your ground state. The law is updated every six months and there they have to keep up with these laws as well as case laws. Chandler states “please lock your car doors and homes”.

"Who is LaTroy Brinkley"

Suffolk native and business owner(Serendipity Hair Salon) in Suffolk, Va. While wearing many hats he seems to balance it all well. 2008 he quit his job while only having “five faithful customers” doing hair in his kitchen after two months his clientele grow tremendously. After graduation he continue to pursue his passion of being a hairstylist to later become a “Celebrity Hairstylist”. Funny, smart, outgoing father of three loves to travel and enjoy life to the fullest. About six years ago Troy told his children that he was “Gay” but to his surprise they were very receptive and life moved on. Child hood trauma of losing his mother at the tender age of sixteen and the importance of being accepted by his alpha male dad was very important but to no avail this didn’t happen until many years later. Life goes on and everything is going great then boom life happens again he lost three family members within a few months of each other. Troy love life ended and at one point he wanted to end his life but God. Overwhelmed was an understatement during this time but he knew that God had given him another chance to live life to the fullest

Collaboration is good sometimes as it will allow you not to tie all of your resources up.

Comedian Darren Fleet stopped by Wait A Gam Minute Studios is Suffolk, Va. Darren has raised the bar on overcoming your past. Although he is a convicted felon however; he didn't let that determine his future. 
Darren always knew that he was funny even as a younger male. Living between Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. He has toured around the world and now he is managing himself and states that "it works well for him"
He doesn't allow his status to defined who he is and his spirit says it all. We thoroughly enjoyed him.

We are having open conversations on random topics throughout this episode. 

During this episode we talked about Michael and Deja Haugabook couple from Florida. Mike is a 55 year old male who married his "god daughter" who is 18 years old. The couple have a 2 year old daughter together. Easy now you do the math

How do you feel about social media? It really depends on the people and how we use it whether it's a good or bad thing. Some people use it and have become cyber bullies. Why do people run to social media with drama and at the same time some use it for positive as well. It is good source of marketing and building relationship with people that one may have not known prior to social media. 

Do you feel men will forgive each other quicker than us females? It really depends on the maturity of the male because some may still hold a grudge towards each other. Years ago the men would use their fist to fight versus now days they use weapons.

"Psychic Medium"

Mediumship is the practice of purportedly mediating communication between spirits of the dead and living human beings. Practitioners are known as "mediums" or "spirit mediums".

Monique Boone growing up she felt like she was different however she didn't know about her gifts.  "God give me this gift and I don't believe that it's anything demonic about it". I think when people don't believe " I'm be honest they just broken and jealous and they wish they had the gift, it use to bother me but now it don't". 

Monique youngest son also has the same gifts and see things as well. At first she was scared but she wants him to be himself and walk in his purpose.

Breast Cancer Awareness 

"Get It Off Your Chest"

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month-  1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime (2021). 

We talked with two Breast Cancer SURVIVORS and find out how their life had changed. Both ladies were actually diagnosed with this aggressive disease on the same day.(different year).

The ladies both stated that they "asked God why them" but never did they get angry with him. 

La'Tricia was in her mid 30s when she felt something wasn't right after a week of putting if off she made an appointment then her process begin. Mother of three young boys she felt "this was going to be it for her".

Iyasha is married with three adult children meanwhile she has been diagnosed not once but three times. During the second battle at one point she thought "why I am going through this again and I'm tired". The third battle she decided to "live and that's what she has been doing since than".
