In this episode, Amaya and Mat discover that there's arguably something worse than just a bad episode of 'Next Gen': and that is what might be THE most boring episode of the series yet! My God! "Shoot me!" - but not in a 'Arrested Development'/Uncle Jack sense. Just a staright bullet to the brain, please! Though, it is true, that along the way they also discover a love they never knew they had for 'My Little Pony'-faced alien void creatures...

Amaya and Mat are BACK!...for Season 2 of ST: TNG, and this week they learn all about un-planned parenthood, luxuriate in Riker's new beard, hang out in the spiffy new bar with the spiff new cast member, and go on maybe the least relevant tangent to date as the discuss the comedy stylings of Martin Short...no, not much has changed in the interlude!

In the final episode for this season of "Wait!...where's Spock?", Amaya and Mat look back, misty-eyed - mostly due to having watched too much tv - and re-score all of season one's episodes...particularly the ones we didn't score in the first place. And stay through to the end for the first moment of genuine shock and tears as Mat reads to Amaya the synopsis for Episode One, Season Two...

This week, Amaya and Mat explore Mat's romantic life, also known as the Completely In Neutral Zone and...wait...no! Sorry! Different show. In this week's episode they finally come face-to-face with this series' overarching nemesis...writers' strikes (UNION PROUD!) Also, there's 80's cryogenics obsession, booze, drugs, country music and, at long last...ROMULANS!!!

In this week's episode, Amaya and Mat uncover..."Conspiracy", Next Gen's "The Thing" tribute, with enough gore and body horror to leave John Carpenter whimpering in a corner of the room. Along with all the viscera comes a great idea, a really solid script, all of which contributes to what is arguably the best episode of the season...if episodes were measured by the weight of their practical effects.

This week, Amaya (and now you) has to put up with Mat doing his dodgy Patrick Stewart impersonation, which is really a dodgy Ian McKellan impersonation from "Lord of the Rings). We also get to see LOTS of Datas (as well as some excellent stuntman tumbling action), creepy Crusher action, and the occasional bit of adult emotional interaction.

This week, Amaya and Mat experience great loss...for Mat, mostly the hour lost watching this episode! But seriously, it's a great case of the parts being better than the sum of the total, but also a time of learning, and they both discover that they love...David Cronenberg's "The Fly"...and f**king "Buffy" comes up again! When will it stop?!!

In this week's episode, Amaya and May learn to say "No!...to drugs"...and a HARD no to dodgy PSA announcements masquerading as drama. Seriously though, turns out "Symbiosis" is some good s**t, man, and if you want some meet us 'round the corner for a fix of solidly written drama and great performances...first time's free...

In this week's episode, Amaya and Mat learn that a Death Sphere isn't always what it claims to be...like a sphere, for instance...that Crusher and Picard really just need to get a room, and that maybe this episode is "the best" of Season One...oh! And apologies for more 'Buffy' chat and comparisons. Last time, we swear*.

Yes, it's our first Klingon episode of the season (and the series), and while Amaya's love of Worf continues to grow, Mat almost spoils - close to 40 years on - the TV mini-series "V" - that's right!
