US payrolls data is out this evening (Australia time) and, unless something else is brewing, markets tend to tread water in anticipation. As NAB’s Ray Attrill explains, today is no exception, although if positive vibes on a US-China trade deal turn into a date for a signing ceremony, that could all change. And on the continuing Brexit circus, Phil Dobbie asks Ray is there’s a danger that the UK could fall out of the EU with no deal, almost by accident. Plus, weak data from Germany, but positive news from Canada, who also have employment data out this evening.
