Hey y’all! Happy Holidays! Coming to you from my hometown, Houston, TX, this week! I have so much gratitude for this sit down with my old childhood friend, Courtney Erwin, who I thankfully reconnected with earlier this year. We haven’t seen each other in 20!
While we used to joke about being cousins growing up, we both discovered that we’re family in another way...sisters in sobriety.
Inside this special episode Courtney candidly shares that "comparison is the thief of joy" and how she "got tired of not being true to her heart".
Following a job layoff and a gray area in her relationship with he beau, Courtney wrote 'Not Your Song' a couple years ago after a road trip across the Southwest from the Grand Canyon on the way to New Mexico. On that trip she set an intention to the universe asking for more Music, Musicians, and Art to come into her life. Pretty quickly, people and opportunities started showing up! Imagine that and here we sit reconnected after all this time...
Courtney is beautiful example of strength by vulnerability. She discusses her process of taking the pain in her life and weaving it into art which I have the pleasure and privilege of gifting to all of you here!
Feast your ears this holiday season and share 'Not Your Song' with your loved ones and friends by checking out Courtney Erwin on iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify!
