In the early morning hours of June 4th 1989, student-led demonstration in Beijing were forcibly suppressed after the government declared martial law and sent in the military to occupy central parts of the city.

Troops with assault rifles and tanks fired at the demonstrators trying to block the military's advance towards Tiananmen Square with estimates of the death toll varying from several hundred to thousands.

Michael is joined by Tasmanian Senator & former employment minister Eric Abetz who has written to the Fair Work Ombudsman &  Australian Human Rights Commission asking for investigations into the termination of Israel Folau’s contract with Rugby Australia.

Senator Abetz has asked both bodies to consider whether the sacking of Folau represents a breach of the Fair Work Act or the Australian Human Rights Commission Act.
