  • The Exploitation of Pain: Awareness and Resilience in Marketing

    Key Ideas and Facts:

    • Exploitation of Tragedy and Social Issues: The paper argues that some brands capitalize on tragic events and social justice movements (e.g., the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Sandra Bland) to promote DEI initiatives and products, framing it as solidarity but driven by profit motives rather than genuine commitment. "These moments of collective grief and outrage were met with an unsettling response from certain corporations and marketers... But let’s be clear: this wasn’t about justice or equality—it was about profit."
    • Emotional Vulnerability and Spending: The paper highlights the link between emotional distress and consumer spending, noting how people are more likely to spend money when emotionally vulnerable. This is compared to funeral homes capitalizing on grief and is now being seen in a broader range of contexts, such as unemployment crises. "Studies in consumer psychology have long shown that people are more likely to spend money under emotional duress."
    • Predatory Marketing Tactics: The article criticizes "scammers, self-proclaimed 'gurus,' and opportunistic marketers" who offer expensive masterclasses, coaching, and training sessions during times of crisis (e.g., unemployment), preying on people's vulnerability. These schemes promise solutions but often drain savings needed for basic necessities. "When over 140,000 people lose their jobs, as we’ve seen recently, the vultures circle... offering masterclasses, coaching sessions, and public speaking trainings at exorbitant prices—some starting at $2,500 or more."
    • Targeting of Specific Communities: The paper emphasizes that communities with significant buying power, such as Black communities (with over $1.4 trillion in spending power), are often the most exploited. This exploitation perpetuates cycles of financial and emotional distress. "It’s a cruel irony: the very communities that are targeted for their buying power—Black spending power exceeds $1.4 trillion annually—are also the ones most often exploited."
    • Call to Action: Awareness and Resilience: The white paper urges readers to become aware of these exploitative marketing tactics and to seek out resources rooted in integrity and transparency. It emphasizes that awareness is the first step in combating this problem. "Awareness is the first step. Recognize when a brand or individual is trying to profit from your pain."
    • Alternative Solutions: Faith, Community, and Self-Care: The paper suggests turning to faith, community, and self-care as sustain

"The Pack is Coming to Gather as the 7 Mountain Agenda Continues to Climb"

In an era where information is currency and control is the ultimate prize, the rise of the 7 Mountain Agenda has become impossible to ignore. This movement, rooted in the belief that seven key spheres—family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business, and government—shape society, is steadily climbing to new heights. But as it ascends, so too does the reach of those who seek to dominate these mountains, including the ever-watchful eye of government surveillance.

Take, for example, the booming world of Airbnb hosting. What began as a revolutionary way for individuals to monetize their homes has become a goldmine of data for authorities. With the help of social media influencers—often unwittingly—hosts are now more visible than ever. These influencers, armed with hacks, creative financing tips, and step-by-step guides, have become unintentional roadmaps for governments to track and monitor entrepreneurs. The very platforms meant to empower individuals are now tools for control, as every transaction, interaction, and innovation is cataloged and analyzed.

This is not an isolated phenomenon. Across all seven mountains, the pattern is clear: data is power, and power is control. In family, smart devices and social media track our most intimate moments. In religion, online congregations are monitored for dissent. In education, digital learning platforms collect data on students’ every move. In media and entertainment, algorithms dictate what we see and hear, shaping our beliefs and behaviors. In business, platforms like Airbnb and others feed a growing database of financial activity. And in government, the consolidation of this information creates an unprecedented level of oversight.

The 7 Mountain Agenda is not just a call to influence these spheres—it’s a warning. As the pack gathers, the stakes grow higher. Will we allow these mountains to be conquered by those who seek to control every aspect of our lives? Or will we reclaim them as spaces for freedom, innovation, and human potential?

The choice is ours, but time is running out. The pack is coming, and the mountains are watching.

Wake your ask up. The climb has only just begun.

  • What She Didn't Say: The Kamala Harris NAACP Speech Breakdown

    Send us a text

    Shocking Description:
In this explosive episode of Wake Your Ask Up, we dive headfirst into the aftermath of Vice President Kamala Harris's NAACP award speech—a moment that left many asking, "What did she actually say?" and more importantly, "What did she not say?"

We unpack the uncomfortable truth behind the NAACP's decision to honor Harris: Was it a genuine recognition of merit, or a calculated move to boost ticket sales and optics in an era where "D.E.I." has become more about the look than the mission? We question the integrity of organizations claiming to be the "Black Voice" while failing to address the real struggles of everyday Black Americans.

Harris's speech, riddled with failed attempts to connect, exposed a glaring disconnect between her and the very community she claims to represent. This episode doesn’t just critique her delivery—it challenges the illusion of leadership and representation in America. Who does the NAACP truly serve? Who does Kamala Harris speak for? And why do 89% of African American communities continue to suffer under failed leadership?

Wake Your Ask Up isn’t here to coddle political parties or organizations. We’re here to amplify the voices of the unrepresented, the unheard, and the unapologetically truthful. If you’re tired of the performative politics, staged events, and empty rhetoric, this episode is your wake-up call.

Wake your ask up. The truth isn’t afraid of the light.

Let me tell you a story.

Thirty years ago, I stepped into the world of business with little more than a dream and a relentless drive to succeed. Along the way, I discovered a truth that would shape my career: understanding the psychology of consumers is the key to unlocking their loyalty. My studies in psychology, particularly consumer behavior, taught me that people don’t just buy products—they buy stories, emotions, and connections. They buy into brands that see them, understand them, and value them.

Fast forward to today, and I’ve built a legacy as a media publisher, public relations architect, and founder of multiple platforms, including Exposure Magazine, Keynote Magazine, and Exposure Plus TV. But here’s the shocking truth I’ve learned: most brands are missing the mark when it comes to building real, lasting relationships with consumers.

  • The Modern Goliath: How One Stone Can Change the Course of History

    Send us a text

When I look at a billionaire—untethered by elections, unchecked by public accountability—wielding his wealth like a weapon, I am reminded of the biblical story of David and Goliath. Goliath, a giant clad in armor, struck fear into the hearts of an entire army. He was a symbol of unchecked power, a force that seemed invincible. But David, a young shepherd armed with nothing but a sling and a stone, moved without fear. He understood that one well-aimed stone could change the course of history. And it did.

Today, we face our own Goliaths. Billionaires who place fear in people, dismantle systems, uproot livelihoods, and reshape society without ever being voted into office. They operate above the law, beyond reproach, and with a sense of entitlement that borders on tyranny. They are the modern giants, and their power seems insurmountable. But like David, we must remember: one stone can change everything.

The Great Divide: A House Divided Against Itself

America is fractured. We are divided by race, religion, sexual orientation, political party preferences, and a host of other manufactured divisions. These divisions are not accidents; they are tools used to keep us distracted, disorganized, and disempowered. While we argue over trivialities, the real power brokers—the modern Goliaths—continue to consolidate their wealth and influence.

But here’s the truth: our power lies in our unity. When we come together as a people—not as Democrats or Republicans, not as Black or White, not as rich or poor—but as Americans, we hold a power that no billionaire, no corporation, and no corrupt system can withstand. The question is not whether we have the power to unite; the question is whether we have the courage to use it.

Washington’s Reset: A Mirror for America

Washington, D.C., has been riddled with corruption for decades. This is not news. But what is new is the universe’s timing. There is a cosmic realignment happening—a correction, if you will. The chaos we see in our government, the upheaval in our systems, and the discomfort we feel are all part of a larger recalibration.

Yes, it was time to address the corruption. Yes, it was time to reform taxation, the criminal legal system, and the outsourcing of American jobs. But let’s be clear: discomfort is the price of progress. Just as Washington is undergoing a reset, so too must we, the people, undergo our own transformation.

    The Power of One Stone

Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and their ilk may seem like modern-day Goliaths, but they are not invincib

  • Trump's Kennedy Center Takeover and Artistic Revolt

    Send us a text

    Executive Summary:

This briefing analyzes a podcast episode of "Wake Your Ask Up!" hosted by Tam Lawrence, publisher of Exposure Magazine. The episode focuses on two major, seemingly related events: the alleged mass firing of 200,000 federal employees via AI-generated voicemails and Donald Trump's takeover of the Kennedy Center, which resulted in a mass exodus of prominent artists. Lawrence positions these events as examples of political overreach, threats to cultural institutions, and emphasizes the importance of authentic storytelling in the face of manipulation.

    Key Themes and Ideas:

    • Political Takeover and Tyranny: Lawrence frames the Trump-led changes at the Kennedy Center and mass AI firing as politically motivated takeovers, bordering on tyranny. The implication is that these actions undermine established institutions and individual rights.
    • "It comes a time when takeovers in politics can feel like a tyrant has been handed the keys to the house. Or, as President Biden once said, 'Oligarchs will be in the house.'"
    • Threat to Artistic Freedom and Cultural Institutions: The Kennedy Center takeover is presented as a direct attack on artistic freedom and the integrity of a vital cultural institution. The mass resignation of artists is cited as evidence of this threat.
    • "The Kennedy Center—a beacon of creative freedom and artistic excellence—now helmed by Trump, who just days ago, replaced the board with his inner circle of unqualified cronies. What followed? A mass exodus of talent that left the arts world reeling."
    • Importance of Authenticity and Storytelling: Lawrence underscores the importance of authentic storytelling as a countermeasure to propaganda and manipulation in an age of digital misinformation. Exposure Magazine is positioned as a defender of authentic voices.
    • "It means that authenticity—the kind of authenticity we at Exposure Magazine fight to preserve—will always triumph over propaganda."
    • "Because when history is written, it won't be by the loudest voice—it will be by those who dared to tell the truth."
    • Trump's Humiliation and Rejection: The Kennedy Center situation is portrayed as a personal humiliation for Donald Trump, whose attempts to gain acceptance from the "artistic elite" have backfired spectacularly.
    • "Trump, a man long obsessed with elite social acceptance, has now touched the untouchable—and found himself scorched. His quest for artistic legitimacy has unraveled into public humiliation, with the very figures he admired rejecting his influence."

Market Street Memory Care Residence’s public relations response to the abuse captured in this video does nothing to erase the horrifying reality staring us in the face. Watching these two individuals—one wearing a hair bonnet that has no place leaving the house and the other barely capable of stringing a coherent sentence together—makes it glaringly obvious they are unfit to care for animals, let alone fragile human beings. Their blatant lack of professionalism and empathy is a chilling reminder of what can go wrong when care is placed in the hands of the wrong people.

This situation is heartbreaking but brutally honest—this is the reality families must confront when planning the future care of their loved ones. Decisions about senior care should not be taken lightly. These moments of neglect and abuse expose the dark underbelly of an industry that too often prioritizes convenience over competence.

Let this serve as a wake-up call. The journey to heaven for our loved ones should never be paved with the hell of mistreatment, indifference, or cruelty. Families must remain vigilant and demand accountability to ensure their loved ones are met with care, dignity, and respect. Anything less is unacceptable.
