  • In The Thick Of It

In Episode 23, a lifelong friend of Julian's joins us on the podcast, Arnold Horton Jr. You never know where Arnold might show up these days, he may even show up to a city near you. We were able to track him down for this one of a kind episode about someone who has and does live in the thick of it everyday.

Arnold is one of the most intricate thinkers, articulate speakers, and hard nose entrepreneurs. He is a man of faith who understands what it's like to start from the bottom, achieve at the top, fail in the middle, and win in the end.

Arnold opens his heart to us about his walk through life as a young kid in an education system that spoke nothing but negative affirmations to him. This led him to believe he wasn't good enough or smart enough. He also shares how unhealthy relationships led him down a dark path of destruction, and how he battled through mental and emotional wars to overcome the damaging thoughts.

Through all of this, Arnold has come out on top. Even though he still walks through life learning lessons everyday, the biggest one has been leaning on the Lord to know who he truly is. This allowed him to take the "L's" in life and turn them into beautiful victories. Arnold is somebody you won't grow tired of talking to or listening to. His kind spirit shines through this episode in such a way that makes you want to know him more. He is an example that dreams don't have to die just because of other people's negativity; the only input that matters is from the Lord.

Get out your best speakers and turn up the bass because this one is a hit!
