My guests today are Matt and Keely Cook of Fort Worth, Texas. Matt and his buddy Jake have a podcast called Sabbath Lounge, which covers a lot of the topics important to people like us, including commentaries on the weekly Torah portions, how to talk to people about the Torah lifestyle, and discussions about the culture and events happening right now, in our days. Today on Walk Like a Hebrew, Matt and Keely and I talk about church, the affect of a transformed lifestyle on our teens, and what NOT to do with the seeds of knowledge!

Brianne Montgomery of Amarillo, Texas talks with me about a few things: how the death of a beloved grandparent put her on the fast-track of discovery about the Hebraic roots of Christianity, how uncommonly supportive her family has been, and she dishes a bit about her soon-to-be husband.

My guest today is Ira Malone of South Carolina. Ira is one of those Torah-keeping believers who has not completely left his charismatic Sunday-keeping church life, but instead has woven the two lifestyles — which sometimes seem to oppose one another completely — into one that is wonderful, set-apart and Spirit-filled. Ira and I talk about his encounter with a prophetic painter which sparked a desire to learn more about the Jewish Jesus, the pastor who accepts his “Torah-keeping ways”, and the reason he started a social media account to connect people of faith to their Hebraic roots.

“I am יהוה, your Set-apart One, Creator of Yisra’ĕl, your Sovereign.” Thus said יהוה, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters,” Yeshayah (Isaiah) 43:15-16
My guest this week is Jonathan Kaufman of Napa, California. Jonathan is newly engaged (Congratulations, Jonathan and Anna!!) and he finally had a chance to sit down and tell me his story. It’s an incredible story, full of doubts, faith, adventure, and improbable twists. Jonathan shared with me the Scripture that set him on his journey, from Isaiah 43:15-16, and what happened when he asked the Father to show him His truth.

My guest on this week's podcast is Wendy Spencer of Eagle River, Alaska. I met Wendy earlier this month at the Sukkot celebration in Orosi, CA, and our interview takes place in the middle of a huge camp with a LOT of activity going on.
One of the interesting things about Wendy’s story is how her whole family, including mom, sister and herself and their spouses and children, all had their eyes opened at the same time, and they are all walking in Torah Observance now. This is so rare in our walk, I just had to hear about it. We also talked about growing up with a Jewish mother, Wendy’s prophetic dreams, and what happened when she asked Yahweh to show her the truth.

My guests in episode 24 are Vincent and Gloria Estes of central California. I met Vincent and Gloria at Sukkot in Orosi, CA, and our interview takes place in the middle of the camp with a LOT of activity. A worship service, shofars, kids running by and a busy road may be heard in the background. But this couple is so vivacious, funny and full of life, just their presence in my sukkah gave me hope and joy and wonder in this precious season. I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did!
We talk about Vincent’s past that included a rough life and a few prison terms, Gloria’s tumultuous first marriage, the miracle of finding each other and being the parents of 8 kids; finding fellowship and accountability, and they also tell me the story of how they met, full of hilarity and Yahweh’s direction.
