Tina Weaver (previously known as Tina Parry) is a longtime friend and former staff member of Southland Christian Ministries. She began her ministry at Southland as a summer counselor in 2005, and by her final summer in 2023, she was serving as one of the lead counselors. For 29 years, the Lord graciously gifted Tina with singleness, which she used to bless and encourage other single women to remain faithful.
In May 2024, Tina married Eric Weaver and now resides in Maryland, where she teaches music.
This week on Friday Focus: Ladies’ Edition, Tina joins Emaley Gillespie and Emily Herbster to discuss how single women can use their current season of life to glorify God and serve Him. Our prayer is that anyone listening to this episode who may be struggling with singleness will be encouraged to trust God’s plan and use their season of singleness to serve Him and others.
This week on Walk Talks, we dive into Exodus 4, where Moses wrestles with doubt, fear, and God’s call on his life. As God equips Moses with miraculous signs and reassures him of His presence, Moses still hesitates—offering excuses that sound all too familiar. How does God respond to our fears and insecurities? What does this passage teach us about trusting His plan, even when we feel inadequate? Join us as we explore the powerful lessons from this chapter and discover how God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness.

This week on Friday Focus, Micah Herbster is joined by Pastor Dave Keck to discuss how young men can know that God is calling them into the ministry. Pastor Dave is the pastor of Kingsway Baptist Church, which is lies just down the road from camp. Before he became a pastor, Pastor Keck was on staff at Southland Christian Ministries in the finance department. Outer prayer is that any young men listening might be encouraged to heed God’s call into the ministry and seek out those who would be able to assist them on that journey.
This week Walk Talks, we dive into Exodus 3, where Moses encounters God in the burning bush. As we explore this powerful moment, we’ll discuss God’s call, Moses’ doubts, and the assurance that the Lord is with us in every step of our journey. What does this passage teach us about obedience, faith, and God’s plan for our lives?
