Walk With Me #Deararn.

Aloneness many times is a gift. It helps us confront our very selves. It digs into all the corners we would rather not go. A day at the beach just watching the waves; a walk in the garden; a morning at the spa; a night alone in the woods; a room in the house; a corner in your office; a chair; a spot in the park; wherever you get it or however you create it, you need time alone with God. The sound of rushing waves, the melody of the birds, the soft music at the spa or the fluttering of wings in the garden, the beautiful flowers, the colourful butterfly... all point us to the reality of one who is bigger than all.

Jesus took time out, look what came out of it: He saved the whole world. Take time to be alone with God, ask all the questions, the disciples did and they got answers, they were given keys. Wrestle like Jacob, you just might get a change of name. Revelations are made when we come apart. He said we will find Him when we seek Him with all our heart You will never really know the person of Jesus except you come up close and personal.

Picture this, there are stuff that you own that you keep in secret places. Not every visitor to your house knows they exist let alone where they are kept. You only allow a privileged few access to your secret treasures. Today, please take time out to be alone with God. Some of us need a friend, the type that only Jesus can be. Take time out to be with Him alone. Better still; give Him a room, a spot in your personal space and watch transformations take place.

Jesus at the garden wished the cup would pass. He did not get that request but He got you and I. Hurry my beloved, get alone with your maker.

Un-forgiveness is a self-created prison; who wants to be in one? Many of us are in these prisons and our inner selves are craving freedom. Let the real you come out. Let it go! The offence and the offender may still be around; they may still be committing the offence. Let them go. You need to be free! Is it easy, most times No but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can and we will.

When we come in to the presence of the Father, we discover we are not alone, some folk came before, the angels, the elders us and they have songs of worship. Yes! They cry holy, holy holy, the atmosphere is so pure and so beautiful that we naturally join the flow. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be a part of such splendour.

“Each of the four living creatures had six wings, full of eyes all around and under their wings. They worshiped without ceasing, day and night, singing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty! The Was, the Is, and the Coming!” And whenever the living creatures gave glory, honor, and thanks to the One who is enthroned and who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your plan they were created and exist.””

Suddenly, nothing else matters, only the worship of Him who is resplendent in beauty, the praise of His is glorious in holiness.

Wait, the light is unapproachable, it is so pure so good and to know that God dwells right in the middle of that!

The beautiful thing is, it does not matter the stage you are at in this journey, there is glory in ahead and it has your name attached to it. Yours for the taking, only if you take the walk.

She sat by the window, gazing into the woods. Her mind focused on nothing in particular. Many questions flooded her mind. How did she get here? What was she to do now? Why was life treating her so?

Why does love hurt so much? She journeyed in her mind to when it all started. She was on her way to the city centre running errands for her mom when a nice looking dark-skinned suave young man pulled up by her side. He asked her where she was headed, and by her training, talking to strangers was out of it. She thanked him and assured him she did not require his help. An hour passed, and she was still waiting for a cab. He pulled up again, and even though she was becoming irritated, she had to listen to him. He told her he would not bite, just wanted to help. She needed help, and her attempt had yielded no result, and her stronghold was weakening. She tried to be nice but wondered if he was jobless or stalking her? He was soft-spoken, "I just want to help you, please trust me, I do not bite. I am free today, and if I chose to help a fellow human being, how is that a crime?' he asked.

Her resolve, weakened, she remembered she had tons of work to do. She told him where she was headed, and he did not mind taking her. She hopped in, and they started off to her destination.

"Hi, I am Tunde. I work offshore, and I just could not help but notice you this morning."

"My name is Helen," she replied. Her heart was wondering if she had not stepped into trouble.

Matt was a travelling salesman. He sold just about anything that will put body and soul together . He went from city to city plying his trade. He had inherited same from his uncle who was reputed to be a great merchant.

Matt had left the small town he was raised to come assist his uncle Joe’s expanding trade. He would travel for weeks at a time, going from city to city making friends with the locals, enjoying their food and of course playing draft under the tree as the people of his time were wont to do. He made a sizable amount of money in the process; he also forged many worthwhile relationships.

On one of Matt’s trips, he stopped at a local café to grab something to eat. The lady behind the counter was fair eyed, and vertically challenged. But what she lacked in looks, she made up with her warm smile, a beautiful voice and a ‘can do’ spirit. She welcomed him to the café as if she had known him all her life.

Tis the season of love and yes, there are many definitions of the the subject. Do you know, that love is a person? Do you know He has attributes?
