Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking…" The pilot, letting the passengers know the plane was about to land. Sally woke up, stretched a bit, and started to put her stuff together. She slept for most of the twelve-hour flight. Carrying out routine checks, the air hostess reminded her she needed to tighten her seat belt bring her seat back upright as the trip was minutes away from landing.

She knew the drill; the only difference was, other times, she would be fully awake. The first part of her journey completed; one more flight before her final destination.

John F, Kennedy Airport, New York, she flew through countless times. Travelling through New York served many purposes for Sally. The first being that it is a more diverse passageway. Though busy, JFK was friendlier to people of other races, and it had flights to almost everywhere one could imagine. Second, New York reminded her of Lagos, Nigeria, the city in which she lived. Residents lived majorly on the fast lane; plus, it is home to people from all races. Third, the traffic in New York was no different from that in Lagos, with police officers everywhere you turned. Everybody was in a hurry and very impatient with other wayfarers. New York was also not far from family and friends as most resided on the East Coast. The landing was uneventful; Sally picked her belongings then proceeded down the long walk to immigration.

She finished with border duties, picked up her remaining baggage, cleared customs, headed for her waiting party outside, and her phone rang.

"Hello mummy", it was her daughter calling. Sally could sense the panic, fear in her daughter's voice. She felt something was wrong, or her daughter would not be so afraid. "What now?" "It's daddy," and Cindy blurted out amidst tears. After a few minutes, she managed to say what the problem was. Cindy was angry, confused, and frustrated. Sally calmed her down, advised her to return to school and leave adults to resolve their issues. She stared at the phone, and it was her turn to be angry. "How dare he? What was he trying to do, and why involve their daughter? Was he even thinking of the girl's emotional well-being at all?"

Tulsa, Oklahoma, home to Sally's heroes on the professional and the spiritual levels, was the venue for Sally's conference. Fortunately, the two meetings she loved to be part of were taking place in the same city and around the same time. She decided to kill two birds with a stone, attend the professional conference and have a personal spiritual retreat. She needed to move her business forward and make sense of the many dramatic events of her life.

One Friday night, she decided to join a church service tagged "One Night with the King", happening thousands of miles away. She was a part of the Internet congregation. The prayer sessions were intense. They had to be. the context was Esther having to risk her life to spend a night before the temperamental King to request the emancipation of her people. The matter at hand was between life and death. The enemy was raging, in fact, at that point, he was winning, and only the King could reverse the impending calamity.

As you go to church today, what do you have to o offer God? Remember you are not come empty. Bring Him your heart...

God pays attention to detail. He is interested in the smallest of us. Reading through another list of them tongue-twisting names as recorded in the book of Nehemiah chapter 7. We note the details. Records indicated who was who, where they belonged and how many they are. In verse 61, we saw an interesting detail. There were people in the middle that their identity could not be verified. They were found among priests! Is it possible that you are hanging around Jesus and there is no record of you?

You may have worked your way up the church hierarchy. You may have a high-sounding title. The question is, do they know you where it matters? Heaven has records you know. The records are kept by heavenly beings who only take orders from God alone. They cannot be bribed, and you cannot impress them. God knows you by name. The word tells us about the day in heaven when books were open. In what record will they find your name?

God's Accuracy ... the Facts

This is awesome! How great is our God!!! Our Creator and Redeemer; if we think about it, God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs. For example:

* • The eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days

* • Those of the canary hatch in 14 days

* • The barnyard hen hatches in 21 days

* • The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days

* • Those of the mallard in 35 days

* • The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.

(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant. The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs. For this reason, He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground quickly.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first. A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first. How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation! God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.

* • Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind

* • Each orange has an even number of segments

* • Each ear of corn has an even number of rows

* • Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains

* • Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.

* • The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.

* • All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord specified thirtyfold, sixtyfold and a hundredfold all even numbers.

God causes the flowers to blossom at particular times during the day. Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the open and closed flowers!

The Lord would order the lives of each of us beautifully for His glory if we will only entrust Him with our life. If we tried to regulate our life, it would only be a mess and a failure. Only God, who made our brain and heart, can successfully guide them to a good end.

7 Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation[i] of our sins—all because of the cascading riches[j] of his grace. ---I ALSO GOT GRACE AS PART OF THIS PACKAGE. HALLELUJAH!

8 This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us,[k--- THIS GRACE SHOWS UP IN ME, IN POWER
