  • Love From Dad
    My child,
Many call me their Father, but I do not know them. Some run errands in my name, and I did not send them. Some swear by my authority, and they were never mine. Many are wondering why I just let them be, tell me if I destroy them how many will remain. I am sure you will not like it if infidels say all I do is destroy because that will not be true. All I am about is the redemption of man back to me.
I made all the provisions; I wooed the people in many ways. It is just that they would rather walk in their ways.
You see, their ways can only lead to death and destruction. Many of them think they know, but they do not know anything about me or the way I work. Many talk in my name, and they never consulted me. I am sure you are wondering why I am telling you all this. It is very simple; I want you to get it. I have invested too much to watch you miss the way. Every time my people chose the wrong path, it hurts. My son Jesus already paid the price, and the Holy Spirit is there to help them, what more do they want?
I do not want my people to perish, but you must understand why I cannot behold sin. I am a just God. I cannot condone evil that is why I arranged a way out for my people. When they go against my will, I have to punish. All I want you to do now is warn them again. They do not have forever to get it right. I am about to wrap things up, and they cannot afford to go on the way they are going.
Many of my children are deluding themselves, saying that they are in the age of grace, so it is all right to do whatever they like. How can that be? If they truly understand my grace, it will make them do right and love and appreciate me more. Grace, my child, is not a license to sin. It is room to behave like me. I indeed love them, but love chastises, love punishes, you know. If I let them continue in their rot, they will shipwreck the faith, and you know very well that I cannot let that happen.
I am writing you this little love note so you can run and let my other children know. I am getting ready to end this age, and I want them to be prepared.
    I love you.
    Your Father
    P.S.
“Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’ “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved. (Ezekiel 33:2-9)

  • Tomorrow is great
After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them —to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates —all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:1-9
Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. After three days the officers went throughout the camp, giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits between you and the ark; do not go near it.”
Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.” Joshua 3:1-5

  • The Heavens declare!
    The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
    Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
There is no speech nor language,
where their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
His going forth is from the end of the heaven,
and his circuit unto the ends of it:
and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:
the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:
the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold:
sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Psalm 19

  • Start the day right, put God first
    Praise the LORD.
    Praise the LORD, my soul.
    I will praise the LORD all my life;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Do not put your trust in princes,
in human beings, who cannot save.
    When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.
Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the LORD their God.
He is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
    he remains faithful forever.
He upholds the cause of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry.
    The LORD sets prisoners free,
the LORD gives sight to the blind,
the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down,
    the LORD loves the righteous.
The LORD watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
    The LORD reigns forever,
your God, O Zion, for all generations. Psalm 145

  • No den of thieves
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”
And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night. Mathew 21:12-17

  • Pray For One Another
    Pray For One Another
Have you ever wondered why God created us social beings? Why didn't He just leave Adam alone? Why put us in races, families, regions etc.? Why do I need you and how come you cannot do without me?
I Need You To Survive (Hezekiah Walter)
    I need you
    You need me
We are all a part of Gods body
    Stand with me
    Agree with me
We are all a part of God’s army
It is His will that every need be supplied
    You are important to me
    I need you to survive.
    I pray for you
    You pray for me
    I love you
    I need you to survive
    I won't harm you
    With words from my mouth
    I love you
    I need you to survive
These are the words of a song that sums up all the argument for our interdependence on one another. Truth is none of us can do it or go it all alone. We need each other, and the sooner we realise this fact, the easier our life journeys will become.
Picture this: your area of need is a walkover by some other person around you. How easy do you think it will be for that brother or sister to believe God for you in that area? I think very easy. If you listened to them talk about that area, you will know that believing is not an issue. They almost will sound like they do not need faith or at least not much as you are imagining. They already walk in the reality of what you are dreaming about.
God promised that if two or more of us agreed as touching anything, it would be done by the Father. How cool is that? Why won't we embrace this grace? Why will we allow ourselves to be cheated out of our inheritance in Christ? Beloved, look around you, God has blessed you with folk. Just imagine if on an hourly basis someone is mentioning your name before the Father. And you are doing your bit for many around you. We will all live joyful stress-free lives.
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:19-20)
Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16)
As you worship God today, please remember to pray for someone else and know this, whatsoever a man does that he shall reap also. Sow prayers and you will reap prayers. Be someone's answer, and someone will be your answer. Lift a burden off a brother's shoulders and watch help arise for you from God's throne. Look out for others today, and you will be protected. Enjoy God's presence. Remember to pray for one another.
P.S. when you are alone, multiplication is not possible. When there are two or more, then we can be talking increase. The progress you make on your own cannot be compared to when you employ or engage more people in the drive or quest.

  • Go In This Thy Might...A Look At Gideon's Life
Go In This Thy Might…A Look
At Gideon's Life.
The angel of the LORD came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” (Judges 6:11-12)
When a people or an individual is under judgement, many things become inconvenient.
He felt the burden, lived the hardship, the people’s travail was heavy.
Gideon felt very inadequate, the troubles of the land were many, and what could he, one solitary man from the backwoods of nowhere do in the face of such oppression?
God knowing that He had the heart of a deliverer chose Gideon as the man of the hour. You wonder how I know; Gideon knew their history, understood that God was awesome in the lives of His people and knew that for them to be going through such hard times could only mean one thing. God had turned His back on them.
He knew it was not a God problem. It was a sin issue.
The Angel startled him called him mighty despite his low self-esteem. What matters is how God chooses to define us not how we see ourselves or how man describes us.
When we empty ourselves, we make room for God to fill us and then pour us out to our world.
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man (Judges 6:12-16)
God reassured Gideon a couple of times until he gathered enough strength to do Gods bidding.
God gave Gideon a winning strategy and the enemy is defeated.
And it came to pass the same night, that the Lord said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:
And build an altar unto the Lord thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down. (Judges 6:25-26)
We must deal with sin and all its paraphernalia around us, embrace God, and the desired change would come. Read the rest of the story in Judges 6 and 7
As for us, we must continuously ensure that our world is not engulfed in sin. We must take a stand for God, and we would see the change that we desire in our time.

  • Dry Bones Still Live, Dead things still rise
The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign LORD, you alone know. ”
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD. ’”
So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD. ’ (Ezekiel 37:1-14)

  • Return
Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’
“And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.
