  • COMMITMENTS
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth…” (John 4:23-25)
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ…
    (Ephesians 5:2ff)
Beloved, what are your commitments? Are you even committed? Where is your heart? What drives you? What should you be committed to? How committed are you? I believe that our number one commitment should be to God, our creator and sustainer. Seeing that we are here on assignment, our loyalty must first be to the one who committed the task into our hands. Any ambassador who refuses to be loyal to his home country is usually recalled.
Our commitment to God and His call on our lives should be total, not half-hearted. It must be seen. You cannot claim to love, and it will not be evident. Love for God must drive you to unshakeable loyalty to Him. You cannot be representing God and blatantly breaking His rules. Jesus rebuking the Pharisees accused them of behaving like their father, the devil.
How you carry on in life reveals to whom you are committed? The Bible lets us know that our commitment to our families must be unflinching. God put us in families for a purpose, His purpose. If we claim to be serving God and we are not committed to our families, we might be wasting good time. What should we do with the wayward child, the runaway husband or wife, the traitor sibling? The word recommends, love them, pray for them, bless them, go after them but do not give up on them. Is it easy I hear you say? The Lord supplies grace if we ask Him. Loving the unlovable brings out Christ in us. We were not exactly the best of sheep when he decided to lay down His life for us. In like manner, we ought to lay down our lives for our brethren.
And let them continue to trample over me? Remember this; my beloved, power belongs to God. No one can hurt you without God, allowing it. Besides, it will be nice to see God show forth His might through you. Moses was not there when Miriam and Aaron were murmuring against him. God dealt with them. Wouldn't it be nice to let God deal with those who provoke God in you?
We also need to be dedicated to serving one another in church. How committed are you in your local assembly? Do they feel your impact in church? Are you there to give or to take? The word says it is better to give than to receive. When we gather together, all of us must have something to offer. What are you bringing to the table?
Never go to church empty, you must always have something to offer. Finally, we must be unswervingly committed to our dreams. We cannot expect others to invest in our dreams or passions if we are not doing so ourselves. What should attract people to your dreams is the zeal with which you drive such. What is your God-given vision? How are you driving them?
I sense that many of us need to go back to God in repentance. We have been selfish. We have committed to nothing but our bellies. Beloved, please consider your ways, weigh your commitments, retrace your steps, keep your priorities right. God will help us all in Jesus name.

  • WHY CHALLENGE
    Why Challenge?
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God… (Hebrews 12:1-14)
My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
    (Galatians 4:19)
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.” (Genesis 17:1-2)
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
    (Matthew 5:48)
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11)
Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. (Philippians 3:1).
My beloved, I have chosen to write to you again, stuff that you must have heard me say many times. It may have been at times when we gist or when we were deliberating on matters of life and death. Seeing that we have not been on this journey before, we will be wise if we follow the paths set by the ones who have gone before. We only have one life; all our dreams and aspirations, our hopes, our visions all have a limited time to manifest.
Many seek to explain this existence of ours, but only one has stood the test of time. Only the account of the Bible is credible enough for us to follow. How does one explain the fact that the Bible was inspired, written by many authors; people who lived in different generations and yet, all have the same message?
God loves us enough to send His Son to die and redeem us back to Himself after we have all fallen short. Many people have gone before us and their account of whom Jesus remains the same. They tell us, no matter what, how or where one day, we will have to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord over all creation. Problem is if we wait till it is too late, we will find ourselves on the wrong side of the divide.
I have discovered that this faith in Jesus is the only examination that provides you with victory before you even begin to write. In my high school days, we called it " kronje". Jesus tells you, you will write an exam, but do not fear, He is already preparing the ground. All you have to do is glide through.
The Bible provides us with many examples of people like us. They lived like us, faced the same issues, some goofed, and others sailed. Jesus, being the ultimate, comes on the scene and lets us into the secrets of making mincemeat of the devil. He shows us that being perfect is an attainable exercise, even leaves us the Holy Spirit (in my side of the hood, we will refer to him as "amebo") to help us into stuff that we obviously cannot do by ourselves. The best part of the deal is that we have ourselves; we can cheer each other on, hold each other up and compare notes.
Truly, life in Christ is a glorious life. Who else provides all that His followers will ever need before they even know about the need. My dear, Jesus is simply too much! As we fellowship with other believers today, know this, you are not alone. Many are walking the same road. Do not let the devil isolate you. Your issues are common. Your God is special; He is all-mighty, all-seeing and all-knowing.
Picture Him wrapping His mighty arms around you and telling you: It's ok all will be well. Allow Him to pat you on the back and tell you, well done. Listen to Him; tell you how proud He is of you. Like Him, I love you, and I pray that we will all make Him proud of us. We will arrive as gallant soldiers. Victorious!

  • OFFENCE WILL COME
    Offence Will Come
Osareme was a nice village girl. Life had not been too kind to her. What with having to go to farm before she went to school daily – the daily meal was dependent on if they sold whatever they got from the farm. Life was hard, but it was just about to turn for the worse. Her parents died; now, the little hope was gone. What was she to do now?
The light came at the end of the tunnel, or so she thought. Her aunt Diana came for her from the city. Life was going to be good; she would go to school and then work and make a lot of money, loads of money. They get to the city, but school was just a promise. An empty promise! Work was strange; the men came in the night. Some were smelly, reeking of alcohol most of the time. Most were potbellied and bald. Their words were uncouth, they were rough, and curse words were a dime a dozen. She was ordered to be nice to them. It started with, serve them drinks, make them comfortable, and then show them kindness, with her body.
She did not understand; she was not allowed to question. The men were rough, the nights were long, her innocence was gone, and aunt Diana was treasurer. She only got enough for sanitary items. Life had become cruel. Another angry soul was unleashed.
He was nothing; he had nothing when they got married. All he held were potentials, dreams of a better tomorrow. Her parents were comfortable. They did not like him, but love for their daughter was strong enough to let him take her. She covered him with help from home. After all, ‘we are blessed to be a blessing.’ Every time he needed help, she was, quick to do something. They were yoked together and certainly in it for the long haul.
Ten years into the union, four sons after, our beau gets a break, and she was no longer pretty. Suddenly she did not know how to cook; nothing she did was good enough. Now that he was a big man, he needed a woman of his status and out she went, her four soldiers in tow. The pain was deep; the grief was much. What was she to do? Her parents were dead, and banks had taken over the inheritance. She was left high and dry with a broken heart and an empty pocket.
Tiki brought Sally into the office. She needed help at the time. What were friends for? Five years down the line, Sally became the bosses queen and gave Tiki the boot. The fingers were not only bitten but were roasted. Offences, what do we do with them?
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! (Matthew 18:7)
Can we avoid them? Jesus said, no, they have to come. Pity the courier He promised. Many times, offences drive us to God, they expose our vulnerabilities, they reveal our areas of need for a Saviour, and they help to bring out our inner virtues. If the olive was not offended, the oil would never have come out. If the orange was never squeezed, the juice would have remained inside. If we refuse to break the coconut, the cream would still be trapped inside. Rather than get angry, you need to thank or better still always bless your offender. They are agents of change in your life.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
    (Matthew 5:14)
Are we to continue to hobnob with the offender? Hardly! Suppose the offender(s) were part of the family, a spouse, a child or a sibling. What should we do?
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. (Romans 16:17)
“See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; (Isaiah 54:16)
Know this my dear, they are doing their job. At the end of it all you will come out as gold. No matter the heat, gold always comes out better. Bless your persecutors. They were employed for your good.

  • When Everything Goes Wrong
    When Everything Goes Wrong
He was a good man. He tried to live right even pre-empted the children's excesses. He loved his God, was faithful to his wife. His children were the envy of their neighbours. He was the neighbourhood saint. Everyone in need knew he could, and he always helped. Life was good and bam, everything changed. The news came; his children had just died. They were returning from school. Could this have been prevented? How did he miss the signs? Were the sacrifices not enough?
The answers were finding their way out, but there came cause for more questions. The man himself became ill. Some said it could be stress; others attributed it to grief. Some who had always wondered the secret of his well-being was sure it was God judging, how else would God expose a man's deep secrets?
No one would understand this man's life better than Job. He lost all his children, became broke overnight and even got stricken with a strange ailment. Rather than get compassion from friends, he got scolded. Their words were at their best miserably comforting. Rather than solve the problem, they created more issues. From their hearts came deep thoughts all revealing men's heart of envy, strife, jealousy and much more all couched in the name of care. Has religion ever tried to explain your pain? Have you had a Pharisee analyse your predicament? You will emerge miserably comforted.
(The story is told in all 42 chapters of the book of Job)
She was ok with the way her life had run. Her hubby was already old, and she had waited for too long to have a son. God has blessed her just that He did not include the blessing of a son. She wished He did but could not complain. He had been kind, nonetheless. She resigned to being hospitable. She would care for the man of God even build him a house if she had to. She loved God enough not to hinge her relationship with Him on the material. And then he comes with the promise of a son. Wonderful! Nice. The boy grew, and just when they were getting used to being the perfect family, death snatched the son. Did she not tell God she was good without the son?
Why whet her appetite? What was that even all about? To the messenger she went and getting to him she blurted 'I did not ask to be given a son. I had resigned myself, why taunt me?' She felt deceived, she felt betrayed, she felt used, she felt hopeless and embarrassed. What was all that about?
    (2 Kings 4:8-37)
Has something terrible happened to you when you are doing your best to stay in the straight and narrow? Have you been accused of arrogance when you are struggling to make sense of your predicament? Has religion ever analysed your life and you are feeling lost in the analysis? Have you ever felt all alone amid the crowd? Have you ever known the frustration of being misunderstood by people who should know? Have you ever had to endure the frustration of not getting direct answers from God?
Ask Job and the Shunamite woman. They know that road well. They were there when the journey started, but the good news is they were also there when the journey ended. Job got double for his trouble. The woman got her son back. You will get your own too: your hubby, your child, your vision, your marriage, your wealth will all return.
As for you, my beloved, you have not heard the last of the story. Know this, though; it is the same God who restored Job that will bring you back to your rightful place. It is the same God who gave him double what he lost that would bring laughter to your situation again. He sees and hears all your inner cries. He feels you, my brother; He will make it all good in the end. Just hold on! Just hold on to the one who has no beginning and certainly cannot end. He cannot be limited, and His power cannot be measured. Rest in His love, my beloved, God is on your case.

  • THE CREED
    The Apostles’ Creed
“I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there, he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic* Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.”
The creed states what the Christian faith is all about. Every serious organisation you enter will greet you with their vision and mission statement. These are usually displayed in very conspicuous areas of the organisation. Why? So you can tell in what direction the company is headed. It will also help you make up your mind if you would join the train or would rather walk.
Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. (Habakkuk 2:2)
What is the meat of your belief? In whom is your belief? How do you communicate your faith? If we must make anything meaningful out of our life and existence, we must learn to communicate our beliefs. It is not enough to know where you are going, what you are about; people around you must also be made to understand. This will enable us to realise if the people around us are travelling in the same direction.
“But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” (Matthew 22:11-14)
When a staff is hired, he is orientated into the essence of the company. He is intimated with the inner workings of the organisation. How else will we recognize the misfit if there is no term of reference?
Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? Does a lion roar in the thicket when it has no prey? Does it growl in its den when it has caught nothing? Does a bird swoop down to a trap on the ground when no bait is there? Does a trap spring up from the ground if it has not caught anything? When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the Lord caused it? Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared— who will not fear? The Sovereign Lord has spoken— who can but prophesy? (Amos 3:3-8)
    The Word advises:
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, (1 Peter 3:15)
As you face a new day, is there a creed for your life? Do folks around you know where you stand? Consider writing down your vision and mission statement. Please place them in conspicuous areas where you would be reminded daily. The Lord help us as we fine-tune our lives and mission.

  • IDENTITY CRISIS
    Identity Crisis
Rahab, the harlot, was by every means a high-class babe. She did not have to seek the men. They sought her. She must have been stunning because she was very much in demand. She lived by the wall of the city. The king knew her. The nobles were her regular clients. She was well informed. How else would she have heard about the Israelites and their knack for taking over territories? She was also a smart woman. She knew how to negotiate. She understood when destiny came knocking. She knew how to stop work to arrange her future. She negotiated her way to a glorious destiny. Guess where she landed, the lineage of the messiah! A HARLOT!
    (Joshua 2:1-3, 8-16, 21)
They killed everyone, men and women, young and old, everyone except Rahab and the others in her house. They even killed every cow, sheep, and donkey. Joshua said to the two men who had been spies, "Rahab kept you safe when I sent you to Jericho. We promised to protect her and her family, and we will keep that promise. Now go into her house and bring them out." The two men went into Rahab's house and brought her out and her father and mother, her brothers, and her other relatives. Rahab and her family had to stay in a place just outside the Israelite army camp. But later, they were allowed to live among the Israelites, and her descendants still do today. (Joshua 6:21)
The mad man of Gadara was inhabited by a legion demons. He had to be chained. His home was with the dead in the cemetery. No one could restrain him. A single man being home to 6000 devils, only dead bones can accommodate such. He was destructive and restless yet locked up inside all of that madness was a preacher. His mission was to ten cities in the region. A MADMAN. (Mark 5:1-6, 9, 11-14, 18-20)
Mary Magdalane was well known. She was the town harlot. She was home to seven devils. But trapped inside her was a lady preacher and financier of the gospel. THE TOWN HARLOT! (Luke 7:36-50)
Saul of Tarsus was on fire. His mission was to destroy any and everything that followed THE WAY. He would go to any length including supervising a murder and even getting permission to destroy. Then he met with Jesus and the persecutor became the crusader. (Acts 9:1-6)
Moses was a murderer, locked up inside him was a deliverer. Jabez was an honourable man, yet everyone, including his mom, called him, ‘child of sorrow’. The woman at the well was an evangelist by design but her reputation, as the woman with five husbands would trap her destiny until... the messiah showed up. Tamar was a woman cheated, but she took what was denied her (Genesis 38).
How messed up are you? How far from your real identity, are you? What or who is crying out to be let loose inside of you? How far off course can you be? How far away from the promise have you stray? What name are your neighbours calling you? How trapped can you be? There are tons of questions that are crying for answers. There is only one answer. JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH!
All of these people related to Him or were related to Him. Embrace Him, return to Him, report to Him, and cry out to Him. Remember, He walked on the same road you are walking now.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:15)

  • DREAM ON
    DREAM ON
What is wrong with dreaming? Aren't dreams supposed to give you something to hope for? Something to look forward to! Joseph must have wondered to no end. He did not ask for the dreams. They came during his sleep. What was he to do? He chose to tell the family. Most were older, so they would have some insight. After all, everyone was supposed to be dreaming like him.
He hoped to compare notes, but instead, he got a reprimand. He must have believed that his dreams were kindergarten, so he dreamt some more. Surely there must be something that would impress his brothers. His motive was not to show off. They were covenant people, so why not flaunt it? It was in their genes to be great. They were possessors by nature. So, what is wrong with dreaming?
Joseph was soon to find out – not everyone was like him. They did not all have images of a preferable future. Most were content to live for the day. Keeping the status quo was dream enough. Their father was rich, and they had an inheritance, so why dream?
    Joseph discovered:
    * • Being preferred came with its downside.
    * • Not everyone dreamed.
    * • A man’s dreams could earn him some enemies.
    * • Dreams could make one the butt of evil schemes.
    * • The Family is preparation ground for our mission in life.
    * • A man's enemies were those of his household.
    * • Everyone may not be not on the same page. Do not expect them to understand.
    * • Your dream can land you in trouble, big trouble.
The process may be complicated; the journey may be prolonged. The time may seem like forever; God has it all under control. No matter what happens, good would always triumph over evil. It is possible to prosper even in the difficult seasons of life. There is always a day of reward. There is always a day of reckoning.
Genesis 37 gives an account of Joseph from his father's house to the household of Potiphar. The rest of the chapters in Genesis tell us about the life journey of Joseph. Of what relevance is this story to us? We can either be Joseph's in our time or the brothers. One was a dreamer, and the other was just coasters. The dreamer kept moving on the inside and, as a result, had to move on the outside. In the dreamer's life, something is always happening. Progress is inevitable even during the challenging seasons.
Wherever Joseph found himself, he prospered, he was on top. The word concerning us is that we would be above only. It is only a matter of time before the dreamer realized his dream had come true. The coasters, on the other hand, were stagnant. They were ok running the family business. They needed to be prodded before they could move. Did Joseph's brothers need to be asked before they would go and look for food supplies in the time of famine? Weren't they grown men? Need their father have to tell them what to do?
On which side of the scale are you: Coaster or dreamer? It is your choice to make. Please note however, that God's provision for us is:
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1 Peter 2:9, 10 NLT)
The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. (Deuteronomy 28:13)
Where has your dreams brought you? Are you even dreaming?

  • HI(S) STORY
    HI(S)STORY
The whole of the bible is His story, a story of love and hope. Carefully woven in every fabric of scripture is the person of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. Jesus came down from heaven to earth to reconcile fallen man back to God.
To assure us we always had a place with Him on the right side of God the Father, dear to him and close to His heart.
It is true, our life stories have been varied but, if you looked very closely, you would see that revealed in the intricacies of your life is the story of Jesus the Christ. Look, see that you are an important part of the story of God’s love and care.
It does not matter if your story is like Olayide’s or Nana’s
Let’s pause awhile and look through their lives.
Olayide (wealth rolled in) was born to poor parents. Mama was housekeeper to the church administrator, and Pop was the church security guard. Even though their family setting was humble, by God's divine positioning, they were exposed to the higher strata of society because of their work. Mr. James being the church administrator, had friends across the social classes. Middle class himself, it was easy to flow higher and lower at will. His house hosted the crème de la crème of the society. This afforded Yide's mom and by association Yide the opportunity to at least hear their speeches, see their graces and sometimes partake of their largesse.
Yide's dad was a jolly fellow. Everybody loved him. It was not difficult to extend the grace to his daughter. Yide enjoyed from both sides. She was a beautiful child herself. She did not see any difference between her and the upper-class kids. She even thought of herself smarter than they were. Even though Yide had all these privileges, the mom always made it a point to remind her. They were only enjoying the grace of Mr. James and the church. ‘Child’, she cautioned many times, ‘never forget who you are’.
Nana was everybody's babe; and would give herself away for a farthing. What was the big deal? Did her dad and uncle not force it out of her? She was now giving it out free, how in the world would anyone have a problem with that? The only thing is, every time it happened, she felt dirty. Then she met Fred. He was kind and gentle, didn't want sex, just her. She was not used to kind men. She knew the crude and rough ones, ones with the curse words and stout chested beer-guzzling fellas.
Can someone tell Fred to use the door?’ Her pain ran too deep.
Does the fact that Nana went through valley ways lessen the import of His story in her life? Certainly not. It is all part of it. It all works out well in the end.
The bible lets us know that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)
No matter what your story is, the blueprint is that you are a king and a priest. Heavens royal travelling through earth and definitely looking forward to returning home someday.
However the journey is, it is designed to tell the ultimate love story.
THE STORY OF LOVE EVERLASTING, LOVE UNCONDTIONAL, LOVE UNFLINCHING AND LOVE UNTAINTED.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
    (1 Peter 2:9)
If your path turned out rough, turn it on the devil’s head. Have a meeting with yourself. Tell yourself some TRUTH! Ask deep questions. You cannot afford to lie to yourself. You cannot give up now; you have come too far. You are stronger than you give yourself credit for. It doesn't matter where you are coming from, what you have had to go through. What matters is where you are going and how you get there.
Receive Strength my beloved, you are an important part of the story.

  • IT IS IN YOUR GENES
    It’s in Your Genes
Hosea must have felt that Gods demand were too hard. What with asking a straight man to keep going after a crooked belle! She was beautiful all right but is beauty enough? He was the holiness prophet; his only message was ‘holiness unto the Lord.’ He was sent to the nation but in his house, was the epitome of the very thing he was sent to cleanse the country of.
The trouble is, he was in love with her, and she made nonsense of his very essence. God was insisting that he hung in there. How long o Lord, how long? Did you even know what you were doing when you were doing the match? But God, why?
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. (1 Corinthians 1:25)
Someone once said God is the finest, shrewdest businessman you can ever imagine. He certainly knows how to maximise His resources. Yoking two holiness freaks together would be wasting resources. It would be best if you harnessed the strength of the strong to complement the weakness of the weak.
The Lord said to me, “Go, show your love to your wife again, though she is loved by another man and is an adulteress. Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love the sacred raisin cakes.” (Hosea 3:1)
“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused. (Hosea 11:8)
My dear, in what way is heaven needing you to show Gods unfailing love? How are you required to typify God's willingness always to bear and forgive? As you worship with other believers today, think about God's love and compassion. Remember that He takes you back every time you return in repentance. Since you have His genes, you would be abnormal if you behaved otherwise.
Show God's tremendous capacity to love the unlovable folks around you today. You can do it. It's in your genes. In loving the unlovable, should we condone their loveless act? Certainly not! We are to keep pointing to the way of the grace, mercy and restoration. Love conquers all.

  • BE YOUR OWN JUDGE
Dear friend, do you know that there is no running away from God? No escape from Gods presence? He created all things; He fills all things. The psalmist tells us that darkness and light are the same to him. Has He sent you on a mission? Buckle up and go! Do away with any and everyone who detracting you from purpose way. No sentiments! They may be like Jonah, sleeping whilst you are rowing. Shake them up and send them out of your boat . Point them in the way they should go. Remember, no one can run from God. His arms are big enough to catch you.
If your middle name is Jonah, would you turn now and face the assignment God gave you? Are you not tired of going round when you know exactly what He would have you do? How many people do you want to die before you take on the baton? Brother/Sister Jonah, can you please get off our boat and face Nineveh?
I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
    If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you. Ps 139:7-11
