It comes as no surprise that Wanda James was named “One of the Most Important Women in the Cannabis Industry”by Cannabis Business Executives, and “One of the 100 Most Influential People in Cannabis” by High Times Magazine. Wanda was the first African American woman to open a cannabis dispensary in Colorado. She is a former Navy LT, who then spent twenty-five years in politics, having served on President Obama’s National Finance Committee and as Jared Polis’ campaign Manager in 2008-2009.
