00:00:00  Welcome to Warfare Prayers, the podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. I plead the blood of Jesus over my son's future right now, and I come against every satanic assignment that would come to kill, steal, and destroy his destiny in the name of Jesus. I apply first Corinthians two nine over my son that our eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has the mind imagined the things that God has prepared for my son. I plead the blood of Jesus over his mind as a hedge of protection against spirits that bring low self-esteem, insecurities, hopelessness, His rejection and fear. Father, renew his mind in your word, that he would know that you knew him before he was in the womb, that before he was born you set him apart to be great before the nations. Illuminate his mind with your truth, so that he would know that you, O Lord, would bless him and surround him with favor as a shield.
00:01:21  Give him the knowledge today to know that if his ways are pleasing to the Lord, that you would even make his enemies at peace with him, according to Proverbs 16 and seven. Nothing by any means will stop this future in you, Lord. So I pray today for my son's future, that you would smooth out the road ahead of him. Give him all wisdom and discernment to detect anything that is not of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen him to handle anything of the world. Keep him sober with your truth, and order his steps so that the purposes and plans of your

  • A Daily Prayer to grow in maturity: ( Daily Devotional )
    📔 Daily Devotional

In this episode of "Warfare Prayers," Pastor Derrick Crosby leads a guided prayer and explores the Christian responsibility of bearing with the weaknesses of others, especially those new or struggling in their faith. Drawing from Romans 15:1-3 as the daily scripture, the message emphasizes balancing truth and grace—correcting with love and nurturing with patience. Pastor Derrick highlights the importance of daily devotionals and daily meditation on God's Word to strengthen our ability to support others. The church is likened to a hospital, where believers support, heal, and encourage one another rather than judge, fostering an environment of deliverance and spiritual growth. The episode concludes with a heartfelt prayer for wisdom, compassion, and strength to reflect Christ’s love and help others grow spiritually.

    📖 Daily Scripture

Romans 15:1-3**: "We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: 'The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.'

    💡 Key Devotion Moments
    • The theme of bearing with the weaknesses of others, particularly weaker believers.
    • Reference to Romans 15:1-3 and its teachings on supporting and being patient with others.
    • The responsibility of stronger believers to encourage and nurture those still growing in faith.
    • The importance of balancing truth and grace in spiritual guidance.
    • The analogy of the church as a hospital for healing rather than a place of judgment.
    • The role of truth in correcting and bringing about necessary change.
    • The significance of grace in providing comfort and strength during correction.
    • The example of Jesus showing grace to the woman caught in adultery.
    • The call to pray for and support others in their spiritual journeys.
    • The importance of reflecting Christ in actions and building up the body of Christ in love.

    Daily Devotional and Prayer Transcript

00:00:00  Welcome to Warfare Prayers, the podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. Brothers and sisters, I want to plant something in your mind, soul and spirits. I want you to bear something. I want you to pick up something and hold on to it and not let it go. Here's what I want you to bear. Other people's weaknesses bear peoples weaknesses. I challenge you to do that. And when I say bare people's weaknesses, I'm talking about of immature believers. Be careful how you conduct yourselves among weaker Christians. Why do I say this? Because the Bible says in Romans 15 one through three, we then, who are strong, ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. Now, immature believers, they judge. They grumble, they complain, they murmur, and they criticize.
00:01:30  Paul wants us to bear people's weaknesses. That's what it's saying here. Bear doesn't mean to put up with it. It doesn't mean to condone these things. It doesn't mean to justify these things. It means to bear the weak along. This is as a father or mother would bear a child simply because they learn from you. See, we make up a spiritual hospital. Weak people come to us not to be judged, but they come to us so that they may be healed. If you were to go to a hospital because you were bleeding and couldn't stop bleeding. You would not expect a doctor or physician to judge you or look at you in a weird, strange way because you have blood on your body. No, you would expect them to treat your wound or to treat what's going on with you. See, church is to be a hospital to not only rebuke, but to also treat. I would like to say this, and I want you to remember this as you go about your journey today.
00:02:42  Always give people the truth, but give them grace as well. If you're going in for a surgery, truth is like the knife to cut someone open. But grace is the anesthesia that gives the body the power to endure the truth. We use the truth to tear down what's not good, but we use grace to build people up. So make sure your balance tell people they need to repent. Tell people there's a burning hell. Tell people the truth of God's Word, but also let them experience grace. Tell them about God's unfailing love. Tell them about the woman caught in the act of adultery. And God was ever so merciful with her. When everyone wanted to stone her. People need grace and truth. See, this is why the word says Jesus says Moses broke the law, but I came to bring grace and truth. People need the truth. To have the surgery. The knife that cuts within the depths of the soul. But they also need the grace, the anesthesia, to be able to handle the truth.
00:04:13  Bare people's weaknesses. Realize and understand that just like Christ died for you, brothers and sisters, he died for them. Pray for them. Speak life over them. Declare God's word over them and you will help disciple someone. You will help them grow, and they will be grateful for your life and your maturity. Let us pray. Father, we pray in the powerful name of Jesus today. Help us not to be a stumbling block to anyone that's immature, to anyone that's growing and trying to learn. To anyone that's a babe in Christ. But help us, father, to be liked, to be an example, to be one who reflects you in all of our ways. To be one that's worthy of following. Worthy of listening to. So, father, we pray that you would plant more of your word within us. Help us to grow in wisdom, in knowledge and understanding. And we pray, father, that you would empower our faith to believe in you, even in chaotic and difficult situations.
00:05:33  Father, we want to be pleasing in your sight. So we pray that your Holy Spirit would help us to do just that. For we realize that we can't do nothing without you. So, father, empower us to love others as you've loved us, to serve others as you've served us. To be faithful to others, as you have been faithful to us. Father, we want to reflect you. We want to duplicate you in all of our ways. Renew our minds, soul and spirit. Forgive us, father, for our sins anywhere where we've missed it. We pray for forgiveness. And we pray, father, that you will cleanse us of any unrighteousness. In Jesus name we declare these things by faith. Amen.

    Devotion Transcript

00:00:00  Welcome to warfare prayers. The podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. We are in our second episode of making the Most of Your Time, and we're in first Peter four seven through 11. And in our last episode, we talked about making the most of your time is being spiritually intelligent. That simply means spiritually I am sober. I'm not intoxicated with the things of the world, and the reason that we can't be intoxicated by the things of the world is because the enemy, Satan himself, hunts the person that's not sober. The Bible says the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and he wants to devour the person that's not sober. So we have to learn to be spiritually intelligent. The way we do that is we renew our minds every day, and the way to renew our minds is to make that decision to stay in God's presence.
00:01:34  Because it's in his presence is where we find the fullness of joy. In our episode today of making the most of our time. Peter talks about first he says, but the end of all things is at hand. This is first Peter chapter four, verse seven. He says, but the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers. That's the sober part. Then he says, above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. So what Peter is talking about now, he says, above all things, if you're going to make the most of your time, you must be. Let me plant this in your mind, soul and spirit for this episode. Brothers and sisters, you must be intentional in your love for others. You must be intentional in your love for others. Because the Bible says in verse eight that love covers a multitude of sin. Now what exactly does that mean? how does love cover a multitude of sin? Because if you're not intentional in your love for others, you're going to waste your time.
    00:03:07
Love is so important that Jesus based all all of the commandments down to this one commandment. He says, love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your mind, and all of your soul. And then he says, love your neighbor as yourself. This means you must be intentional in your love for others. Now, what does it mean when it says love covers a multitude of sin? Well, think about it like this. I'm going to give you this story. A husband and wife one day was fussy. They were really going at it. So the wife suggested they write down their complaints on a piece of paper, and then show the other person exactly how they felt. She thought it might cut down on the bickering. The husband agreed and got the paper. She got out the pencil and they both started writing. They both wrote furiously for a while. The husband would pause, look up at his wife and write some more. The wife would pause, look up at her husband and write more.
00:04:18  The husband would pause again, look at his wife with an even angrier look on his face, and he'd write even more. The wife did the same thing and then put her pencil down. But her husband still was writing. He looked at her in fury and continued writing. He kept writing. Then he wrote some more. Then he wrote even more. Now the wife was getting furious because she had covered one side of the page and her husband was already finishing the backside of his paper. He kept looking at her and would come up with more to write. Now the wife was clenching her fist and tears of anger were welling up in her eyes. Finally, the husband said he was finished. They exchanged sheets of paper and looked over each other's sheets. As soon as she gave him her sheet and looked at his, she felt terrible. She felt horrible. She wanted to quickly take her sheet back. After looking at his for when she looked at her husband's sheet of paper. In spite of his pain and anger, he had written on the page on every line.
    00:05:49
I love you. I love you. He said I'm ticked off, but I love you. I'm angry, but I love you. I don't want to be here right now. But I love you. And in between every complaint, he mentioned the phrase I love you. When she saw that much love, it covered the multitude of sins that had brought up the argument in the first place. That is because this is intentional love. He was intentionally loving her in spite of how he felt. And so when she saw that much love, it covered a multitude of sin that brought up the argument in the first place. This is intentional love. See, it's the same type of love that Jesus had when he was going to the cross. And the same people that were crucifying him, he says, father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And the only way to love like this intentional love only comes through the power of the Holy Spirit. It's the spirit that enable us to love like this.
00:07:16  You cannot love this way in your flesh. You can only love this way in the power of the Holy Spirit. So, brothers and sisters, to make the most of your time, you must be intentional in your love for others. It simply means I'm going to choose to love people regardless of how I feel. Let us pray. Father in the matchless and powerful name of Jesus. Lord, we come before you today with surrendered hearts, because we know, father, that we can be filthy as filthy rags. Lord, we can become bitter. We can become resentful. We can become angry. We can become people that are not pleasing unto you. But, father, we first ask for forgiveness for all of our sins. And we pray, father, that you would forgive us and cleanse us of any unrighteousness. And, Lord, we pray that you would create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit that we would love. How you love, that we would be kind as you have been kind to us, that we would be forgiving as you have forgave us.
00:08:39  Teach us, father, how to be intentional in the way we treat other people. Teach us, father, how to love to the point where people can see your light living on the inside of us. For your word declares that love covers a multitude of sins. Father, we pray that the love that you put in us would blot out the hurts, habits, and hangups of other people. So, father, we thank you and we pray that these things happen only by the power of your Holy Spirit. And it's in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

00:00:00  Welcome to warfare prayers. The podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. Thank you again for listening to Daily Warfare Prayers podcast. We are in our third episode of Making the Most of our Time, because the most valuable thing you have is time. When it's gone, it is gone. We are in first Peter four seven through 11 and Peter says, but the end of all things is at hand. He's talking about time. The end of all things is at hand. And then he says, therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. Peter is talking about being sober, having discernment, being spiritually intelligent. Be serious and watchful in your prayers. Then Peter says, above all things, above all things. Have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sin. Peter is talking about being intentional in your love for others because love covers a multitude of sin.
00:01:38  This is how we make the most of our time. And the third thing that we want to talk about this episode is not only must you be spiritually intelligent, and not only must you have intentional love for others, but you must also. And this is our last point. You must also be impactful in doing your part. Impactful in doing your part. Listen, brothers and sisters, you have a part to play and you must be impactful in doing your part. Verse ten says this. Verse ten says, as each one has received a gift. Minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. So basically that is telling us to do our part as it relates to the Kingdom of God. If you are going to use the time that God gives you, he wants you to be impactful.
00:02:54  This simply means that if you're going to serve, serve to the glory of God. If you're going to greet, if you're going to sing, if you're going to minister. If you're going to work in different areas, if you're going to evangelize. Do it to the glory of God. This is what he means when he says. Being a good steward of the manifold grace of God in verse ten. See, God gives us grace and see it's by grace that you have gifts, that you have, talents that you have anointing, that you have abilities. It is by grace that you have land, that you have that house, that you have that car, that you have that job. Everything you have is by the grace of God. And listen, you can become impactful in whatever God has called you to do. When you accept that it's not yours in the first place. The Lord let you have these things on borrowed time. See, one day a man named John Wesley, his house burned down to the ground, and some people found him and said, John, we are sorry to tell you this, but your house just burned to the ground.
00:04:09  John said, that's that's impossible. They said, no, John, your house is burned. He said, that's that's impossible. They said, John, we saw it with our own eyes. He says, that's impossible. He says, you see, I don't own a house. God gave me a place to live. I only manage that house for him. He says if he didn't put that fire out, then that's his problem. He'll have to put me somewhere else to live. That man understood. That he could have something without possessing it. The house went down, but he didn't go down with the house because it wasn't his in the first place. It was the Lord's. He realized that it is the Lord that giveth and the Lord that takes away is the Lord that supplies all of our needs. See some trust in chariots and some trust in horses. But we as believers must trust in the name of the Lord. See, you can burn down my house, my car. But as long as the Lord is the strength of my heart and my portion forever, you cannot kill my soul.
00:05:29  See? Declare today, brothers and sisters, that he is the source of my strength, regardless of what happens tomorrow. He is the source of my life. He's the source of everything that I have. So I'm going to use what God gives me for his glory. I must make the most of my time because I got things that God has given me

    Devotion Transcript

00:00:00  Welcome to warfare prayers. The podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. Our series is centered around first Peter four and seven through 11, and we want to make the most of our time. And we talked about in the last episode, is that your time is limited and you must make the most of it. In our text today, Peter wants his audience who's suffering, who's going through persecutions. Peter wants them to realize that time is running out, and they must make the most of it. The Bible says in first Peter four and seven, let's read it. It says, but the end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers and above all things. Have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling, as each one has received a gift, ministered to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
00:01:34  If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. How do I make the most of the time that God has given me? Number one to make the most of your time. Brothers and sisters, I want to plant this in your mind, your soul and your spirit. You make the most of your time by being spiritually intelligent. Spiritually intelligent. We're talking about discernment when we say spiritually intelligent, Peter says, but the end of all things is at hand. Then he says, therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers, the terms serious and watchful in your prayers. This has to do with being sober. To be sober means to be mentally alert, thoughtful and sharp. The word intelligent is the mental capacity to learn, understand, reason, and adapt to new situations. Peter wants his audience to be spiritually intelligent.
00:03:00  That means to have spiritual Discernment and wisdom. He says, therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers. Why? Because the time is running out. God wants you to be spiritually sober and intelligent in your prayers. Here's the reason why. Because the devil, the enemy, hunts the spiritually unintelligent mind. He hunts the person that's not sober. This is why first Peter five and eight says this. It says, be sober. Be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. See? Who can the devil devour? The devil can devour a mind that is intoxicated by the influences of the world's philosophy, the world's latest trends. The world's desire to see. That is an intoxicated mind. It's an unintelligent mind. A spiritually unintelligent mind. Who can the devil devour? A mind that's not sober or mentally alert? A mind that's not spiritually sober or or mentally alert, sharp in the spirit? Who can the devil devour? A mind that lacks spiritual intelligence to discern, to understand, to adapt in the spirit? This is the reason, brothers and sisters, that every day you must renew your mind.
00:04:49  Now what does a renewed mind even look like? A renewed mind is when God restores you. He restores your mind. What does that look like? Let me bring this up again. A renewed mind Mine wants more of God. A renewed mind wants to fellowship. A renewed mind wants to pray. A renewed mind wants to worship. See, you cannot say you have a renewed mind, but you don't want more of God. When your mind is renewed, you want more of God's Spirit. And so every day to be spiritually intelligent. As you go about your journey, make sure that your mind is renewed. How is my mind renewed? By spending time in God's presence. It's spending time in his presence. The Bible says in his presence is the fullness of joy. When I'm in His presence, I have everything that I need. I have love, I have peace, I have patience, I have goodness, I have self-control, I have kindness, I have all of the fruits of the spirit.
00:06:00  I have his wisdom. I have his grace. My mind is renewed when I'm in his presence. See, the enemy wants to deceive you when you're out of his presence. The enemy wants to deceive you when you're tired. When you're lonely. When you're weak. He tried to deceive even Jesus. When he was hungry for 40 days and 40 nights. He tries to catch us when we are spiritually unintelligent. But to be spiritually intelligent, all it means is discernment. And discernment comes when I'm in God's Word and I'm in God's presence. When you're not in God's Word, you're not in God's presence. You're not making the most of your time. Understand? Brothers and sisters, the reason the Israelites went in circles for 40 years is because they didn't have spiritual discernment. They didn't have spiritual discernment to know that God was providing all of their daily needs, and they allowed the enemy to deceive them with fear, they allow the enemy to deceive them with. Wanting to go back to something that was no good for them.
00:07:12  And that was Egypt. Brothers and sisters, our first episode in making the most of your time is learning to be spiritually intelligent. This means to be sober. It means to have spiritual discernment. Let us pray. Father, in the matchless and powerful name of Jesus father, we pray for your wisdom to feel our minds. Give us eyes to see that we may be able to detect the voices of Satan in your voice. We may be able to detect angelic activities that come from heaven and demonic activities out of the pits of hell. Father, help us to discern what is holy and what is unholy, what is righteous and what is unrighteous, what is of light, and what is of darkness. That we may have spiritual discernment, that we may be spiritually intelligent to detect all of the wiles of the devil. So we pray that the Holy Spirit would empower us right now to learn, to understand, to reason, and to adapt to the things of the spirit. Father, we thank you right now, and we speak that it's already done.
00:08:39  Renew our minds right now that we may think your thoughts and meditate on your truths. In Jesus name we pray. We thank you, father. Amen.

00:00:00  Welcome to Warfare Prayers, the podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. A tombstone contains a date of birth, a date of death, and a dash. Above these things is the name of the deceased, and below usually will be some kind of statement. But the main part of the tomb is the dash. It's in the dash that we learn what that person did with what God gave them and that is time. The dash is symbolic of time on earth when we meet God. The date we are born. The date we die won't matter. The dash will be all that matters. What did you do with the time? That was given to you? Time is what's of value. You can waste money and make it back. You can lose valuable resources and get it back. You can lose a job and get another one. But what you can't waste is time.
00:01:50  Once it's gone, it's gone. In your time. In my time. Brothers and sisters is running out every day. We are closer to Jesus returning. Every day. We're getting closer to the end of the world. And every day you and I are getting closer to death. Every heartbeat. Romans 13:11 says this and that, knowing the time that now is high, time to awaken out of sleep for now is our salvation near than when we first believe. You don't want the clock to run out in your life and not have done what God wanted you to do with the time that he gave you. We're in the book of First Peter, chapter four, verse seven through 11. And I urge you, brothers and sisters, to make a commitment Mint to make the most of the time that you have left. The reason I say that is because Peter was speaking to an audience who was suffering, who was going through trials and tribulations, but he told them in first Peter chapter four verse seven, he says, but the end of all things is at hand.
00:03:21  When he says, the end of all things is at hand. He's talking about time. And in our next few episodes, we're going to talk about how to make the most of the time we have left according to the Word of God, because your time in my time is running out and we have to make the most of it. We do that by prayer. We do that by reading the Word of God. We do that by focusing on God. Because when we give our time to him, he's going to give something greater to us, and that is eternity. That is eternal life. Your time is your life. And Jesus says, you will not find life unless you give him your life. Then you will find life. So, brothers and sisters, let's pray over the next few Bible lessons that I want you to be a part of. And we're going to learn what the word says about making the most of your time. Let us pray. Father, in the precious and matchless name of Jesus, we come before you today, father, because we desire to be close to you.
00:04:52  We desire to hear your word. We desire to walk in your path. We desire the righteousness that comes from you. We desire the holiness that comes from being in your presence. And father, we pray right now that you would give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and a mind to meditate and understand your word. We pray that the word hides in our heart that we might not sin against it. Shape and mold us into the men and women that you've called us to be. That we may be pleasing in your sight. Father, we thank you. In Jesus name. Amen.

00:00:00  Welcome to warfare prayers. The podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. Father, I lift up my son right now in the name of Jesus and by the power of your precious blood. I declare your word over his life. That is Ephesians six and ten. Your word declares to finally be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. I pray that my son would put on the whole armor of God today, that he may be able to stand against the schemes, the plots, and the manipulations of the devil. I pray, father, that you would illuminate his mind to understand that he is not wrestling against flesh and blood. But he is wrestling against rulers, against authorities, against cosmic powers over this present darkness, against spiritual forces of evil and heavenly places. Oh father, I pray right now that my son would take up the whole armor of God that he may be able to withstand in the evil day of temptation, in the evil day of weakness, in the evil day that the enemy comes against his life like a flood.
00:01:34  But father, I pray for your grace to take root in his life, that having done all, he shall stand firm. He shall stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, that my son may expose every lie, every manipulation in every plot, that my son would put on the breastplate of righteousness, that he will have a heart that fears you, father, that chases after you, and a heart that you love, that makes you smile, that is pleasing in your sight. Oh father, I pray that your faithfulness would prove itself strong in his life. That he will be established and guarded against the enemy all the days of his life. I pray, father, that my son would develop a sober mind. Give him discernment that he may be watchful, for the devil prowls around, seeking whom he may devour. But I decree and declare over my son's life that no weapon formed against him will be able to succeed. For he shall overcome all things, because greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world..........
