Twenty-six years after the Wayans brothers changed the comedy landscape with Scary Movie (2000), they’re back with Scary Movie (2026) and, naturally, we had to cover it for Episode 209. With much of the original cast returning, the franchise delivers another outrageous mix of laughs, parody, and unapologetically offensive humor.

In this episode, we discuss the franchise’s return, break down which jokes landed (and which didn’t), and debate whether we’d be interested in seeing a Spoof spin-off series, featuring a few of our favorite shows. Jazz also shares highlights from her AAFCA roundtable conversation with Shawn and Marlon Wayans, while Jason imagines how the film might have looked with Melissa Barrera in the cast.

The crew is back with another Side Quest Review! This time, we’re diving into Amazon Prime’s latest series, Spider-Noir. For this discussion, we brought in our brother Anthony from Talking Ish: A Podcast Amongst Friends , along with first-time guest Chris from T3 Media Studios. We jump right into our thoughts on Ben Reilly, Cat (aka Grace), and whether Ben measures up to his fellow Spider-Men counterparts. Anthony provides insight from the perspective of a longtime Spider-Noir comic reader, while Chris poses a great question: if Nicolas Cage hadn’t originally voiced Spider-Noir in Into the Spider-Verse, would he have even been considered for the role? The entire panel agrees that Cage delivered an incredible performance and left nothing on the table. Things get a little silly along the way, but we still tackle all the big topics, without using a single web during the recording….and most importantly, answer the question, Was It Good Though???

We’re closing the door on Season 3 of Euphoria with our Side Quest Review of Episode 8. For this one, we had to bring back our brother Anthony from Talking Ish: A Podcast Amongst Friends, and we wasted no time getting into it. We shared our thoughts on the finale, reflected on the season as a whole, discussed how our feelings evolved throughout the journey, and said goodbye to our sister Rue. We also talked about how Kitty’s BBL somehow got more screen time than Jules in this episode and revisited the emotional Rue and Fez flashback that hit us right in the feels. I won’t say tears were shed during the review, but they definitely made an appearance while we were watching the episode. Let us know your thoughts on the season and the series as a whole. The crew is back with another Side Quest Review, and this time we’re diving into Netflix’s Nemesis. This action-packed heist thriller delivered nonstop tension, wild twists, and enough chaos to have us already anticipating what a Season 2 could look like if it gets announced. We break down the cat-and-mouse dynamic between Isaiah and Cold Train, debate whether Isaiah was truly the villain of the series or simply a terrible husband and father, and discuss whether Deon deserved the opportunity to prove himself before the decision that ultimately cost him his life. Of course, we also had to acknowledge the beautiful Black cast because this series definitely gave us a little eye candy alongside all the drama and action. After all the betrayal, shootouts, and messy relationships, we had to ask the ultimate question… Was It Good Though?

First and foremost, RIP to those we lost in this episode. Euphoria continues to be an absolute chaotic ride, and Episode 7 didn’t let up for a second.

We’re back with another Side Quest Review, and this one got intense fast. The episode opens with an Ali flashback featuring a special appearance from a podcast favorite before throwing us straight into the chaos. We see the fallout from Cassie’s decision to shut down her OnlyFans, Maddy falling deeper into Alamo’s grip, and Rue continuing her own side quest as the season heads toward the finale.
