“Just fly”... We’re flying into Episode 2 of Lanterns, joined by our brother Dave from Brickwall Review, to discuss the latest antics with Hal and John.

We learn that Hal may be John’s biggest opp, and we dive into some of the theories sparked by the details revealed in this episode. From Kerry’s rocky marriage and her connection to Gotham, to the Manhunters and the realization that John may be a lot more powerful than Hal is ready to admit, there’s plenty to unpack. We also get an appearance from Sinestro, as Hal turns to him for answers about the Manhunters.

As the Summr comes to a close, the blockbusters are still being pumped out! The End Of Oak Street was a sleeper pick that we went and got Anthony of the Talkin Ish Podcast to help us break the Sci-fi film down! This film opens like your typical family oriented Steven Spielberg film but soon enough turns into a fast paced edge of your seat thriller. We get in to the family dynamics of the film. We discuss the family , at least the parents, were not the typical bad decision making family . The fair share of jump scares this movie has. Greg losing his leg and the laughs is gave . That crazy snake scene. And so so much, and of course the reason that brings the people here , WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?!

We’re halfway through Season 3 of Lioness, and things are looking BAD for our girl Joe.

We’re breaking down Episode 4, and it’s starting to look like our team may have been played from the very beginning. Was the mission in Episode 1 a major mistake? Will the team find Joe in time, or could this really be her last season? And then there’s Kyle…did he go too far taking out a Russian asset? Our hosts were definitely on different sides of this argument!

With this second season of Caped Crusader we brought in Chris of T3Media and Furb. We begin with season one and the story arc that’s set up and where season 2 picks up. We discuss our favorite villains and which would we like to see in this franchise. We also talk about gender swaps and race swaps based on the traditional characters. The Eradicator is back and stronger than ever while Kara, Laura, and Jonathan tries to impede on his actions. Jazz is disappointed with Lois and her actions . Lex is taken into Waller’s custody but he leaves us with a shocking revelation. We discuss this and more but we finally answer the question we’re dying to know WAS IT GOOD THOUGH?!

The latest installment in James Gunn DC universe has finally landed, LANTERNS! The DC show has Hal and John in this buddy cop intergalactic crime thriller that seems to be an ode to True Detective, another crime thriller series on HBO. We discuss John’s wild beginnings and the 2 WTF scenes in the intro of the show. My destiny versus my ring. The dynamic between Hal and John. The diffference in how they weild the power of the ring. That shocking ending and so much more in this Pilot episode!

We’re continuing our “AI Will Be the End of Us All” series with Episode 219, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, and we brought in our brother Dave from Brickwall Review to join the discussion.

This is a film that flew under the radar at the beginning of 2026, but it certainly gives us a lot to talk about. Has social media made us more complacent as a society? Have we become so desensitized to gun violence and mass shootings that they no longer affect us the way they should? These are some of the heavier topics explored throughout this dark comedy, and we made sure to dig into all of them.

But even with the sensitive subject matter, we found plenty of room to talk about the lighter side of the film—including how much we all hate getting terrible results from terrible prompts. 😂

Through all the chaos, we still have to ask the most important question: Was It Good Though??

D23 has came and gone and Marvel has FINALLY released the latest Avengers Doomsday trailer , the Visionquest trailer , and they have announced a few more X-Men along with something , sinister. We discuss and break it all down along with a few theories and thoughts for this new and upcoming saga!

Who can you trust? We assume Ms Coretta, from the Talkin Ish A Podcast Amongst Friends, Joe and the team are back applying pressure to help keep the states safe. This episode kicks off with the high intensity shake down and we discuss how we would handle that situation . Is there a leak in the crew? Could it be Joe’s husband , Neal? Joe has to tell the family what’s what and the seriousness of what she’s doing in her job. The team partners with an unlikely partner to help smoke out all the enemies .
