The concert will be on Sunday, December 6th, at 5:30 PM Pacific, and it’s going to feature an incredible lineup roots-based music. This is the brainchild of Lisa Ornstein, who is co-founder of Olympia Indivisible, and is a musician herself.

We are also joined by Cameron DeWhitt, who will emcee the event. Cameron is also a musician, and is host of the roots music podcast, Get Up in the Cool.

With the presidential election behind us, all eyes turning to Georgia, specifically toward the two Senate runoff races that will determine control of the Senate, and with it, the possibility of Indivisibles and Democrats alike being able to enact our agenda of democracy reform across the board.

Today, we wrap up the November 3rd election, looking at results, and the narratives emerging about those results, at the federal level and back here at the state and local level.

For Indivisible, last Tuesday’s election was the culmination for four years of work. It has given us a lot to celebrate, some things to assess, and a chance to consider what is next, both in the days and weeks leading up to President-elect Biden’s inauguration on January 20th, and then into 2021 and beyond.

We are joined by Indivisible co-founders, Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin, to talk about our big win, and to break down the game plan between now and Inauguration Day, a series of action steps called “Closing the Door on 2020.”

Because of the pandemic, our state is facing a projected $4.4 billion budget shortfall over the next three years. In the upcoming legislative session, Republicans are expected to push for so-called austerity measures, which disproportionately impact people of color and the working class.

Democratic Senator Joe Nguyen (LD 34) is actively pushing back. He joins us to talk about the fight ahead, and he lays out his vision for progressive taxation.
