It's August and that means it's time for the Premier League to kick off yet another season and the Wasting Your Time podcast is here to preview the upcoming campaign. We Are Back! And so are the Fans...

After taking a few months off after Wrestlemania the Wasting Your Time is back to covering WWE and there is sure a lot to cover and we get right into it. First off Bobby and John break down this Sunday's Money in the Bank (The first PPV of fans returning full time) which includes talking about a feud that almost made John quit watching RAW all together. After that it's right into the ton of releases over the last few months, discussing the complete drop off in the quality of television and what might behind all of this. In fair Verona, where we lay our scene....

It's time we classed up this podcast so on this edition of the 'Wasting Your Time' podcast it's all about Shakespeare but with a modern twist. Ally Stuart really wanted to talk about Romeo + Juliet so that is what we are doing today. The entire episode is about Baz Luhrmann's very divisive 1996 film which really was the kickoff to a bunch of Shakespeare films that were targeted towards a Teen audience. We discuss Luhrmann's very unique style, his very strong and also kind of dated cast. Plus the soundtrack which also goes off on a tangent about 1990's film soundtracks in general. And the pro's about setting Shakespeare in a modern setting in order to reach a audience that otherwise just would not take to the source material. It's a very classy show for once so I hope you enjoy the show.

Chalk this one up to Card Subject to Change....

We had to switch the schedule around for this edition of the 'Wasting Your Time' Podcast but some would say for the better. On this episode Bobby and John travel to the land of extreme for Part 2 of the wrestling retrospective series this time around we look at ECW. A promotion that holds a special place in lots of fans hearts. We take a look at some of wrestlers that made the promotion special. Some of memories that stick out in our minds that made ECW stand out among the others. As well we discuss some of the issues that brought it down. Also we discuss what could of been regarding the failed WWE Reboot. It's a jumbled mess of a show but in many ways so was ECW. We also talk about some of the times we saw Lance Storm out and about in Calgary. It's a fun show so Listen and Enjoy.

It may have been delayed a year but it's time to finally kickoff Euro 2020.

On this delayed edition of the Wasting Your Time Podcast. Rob and John finally get to preview the Euro 2020 Tournament which kicks off June 11th. After a year delay due to COVID the anticipated tournament finally gets going all over Europe. We break down each of the Groups and take a look at who has a shot of winning the entire thing. Will France continue their recent dominance? Does the defending champs Portugal have a chance of repeating? Who might be this years Iceland? Lots of questions and we will give our best answers which most likely be completely wrong in the end. What a week it has been in the sports world and I just had to rush this episode out cause I mean come on how can we not discuss this thing. On this edition of the 'Wasting Your Time' Rob returns to the show to talk about one of the worst ideas of all time The Super League and it's glorious 3 days of existence. It's a rare feat to have an idea so bad that not only do the fans hate it, broadcasters hate it, the players hate it, even national governments hate the idea. We have reached the end of Sign Pointing Season!

We are finally here it is time for the biggest event on the pro wrestling calendar. It is time for WrestleMania and the 'Wasting Your Time' podcast has it covered. Bobby and John (Fully Recovered from COVID) are back to breakdown the entire 2 night card for the grandest stage of them all.
