The first teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, a new prequel film, has been released. The movie is based on Suzanne Collins' newly announced novel of the same name and will revisit the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell, which featured Haymitch Abernathy as a tribute. Francis Lawrence, who has directed previous films in the franchise, is set to return, and the film is slated for release on November 20, 2026.
