Spiritual sleepwalking is the path to forfeiting the vitality of life that Jesus gives. Today’s passage is a divine invitation to wake up from your spiritual sleep and walk as the child of Light that you are in the Lord.

There can be no higher calling than to imitate God. Paul shows us that because of God’s great love for us, we now turn to imitate His love.

How do we walk in a manner worthy of the calling and what happens when we fall short? God’s Word gives us specific examples of how we are to live with each other; Reminds us of who He is and who we are; and how we can forgive each other in the same way he has forgiven us.

Have you ever thought how amazing it would be to experience the fullness of God? In Ephesians 3, Paul prays that the church would be strengthened in their inner being and experience the love of God in a way that it would allow the church to be filled with the fullness of God. By His glory and for His glory, He will see it accomplished.

Consistent and sincere prayer has maybe never been more neglected in the Christian life, but it has never been more necessary. In today’s passage we learn why.
