This is the fifth and final message in a series on the book of Job called "I've Heard But Now I See."
Discussion Questions:
1. Based on how we’ve talked about Job throughout this series, does God’s response to him in Job 38:1-3 surprise you?
2. How is it that God can consider Job ignorant and still innocent?
3. What is significant about how God reveals himself when he finally does speak?
4. What do I mean when I say, “innocence is determined by the lawgiver, not the law?”
5. Discuss the importance of Job’s response to God in Job 42:1-6. What is so important about the phrase, “I had only heard about you before but now I see you?” What can/should it mean for us?
6. What is you image of God in the midst of pain and suffering? What does it look like to respond faithfully to the revelation of God we have in the person of Jesus?
