Both my friend and I have had our fair share of love experiences even at our tender age and due to more reasons we stepped away from our love life for a while.  In 2021 we vowed to work on our live holistically with emphasis of our love lives as they were still on the back burner.  Now a well reenter the love game we have both had our ups and downs but we are stronger for it.

The only reward for love is the experience of loving.

Many person in life desire "The One" someone they can spend the rest of their life with who will love the unconditionally and the reality is it is possible.  But there are some persons who will enter your life who don't fill the romantical purpose.  They are there in your heart and will always be there well some at least.  But... what I will say is cherished those that stay because they last a lifetime.  

Truly loving another means letting go of all expectations. It means full acceptance, even celebration of another’s personhood.

There are moments in our lives where all we have is ourselves.  Where the only shoulder you can pat is your own.  Some may say call it being lonely but the reality is its an opportunity.  

An opportunity to grow with yourself, a moment to love yourself more than you already do or for some to begin to love yourself.  Self Love is a opportunity to fall in love with you and only you.

As a "country gyal " there are so many experiences I have had not just on my small 300 km² island but in so many other avenues of my life.  So what do I do with all these stories... tell you of course, I can't speak for every Caribbean story but I for sure can spoke of my story.  There is so much in surviving in The Caribbean that doesn't revolve around hurricanes, waves, sun, sand and sea.  So, stay tuned as I do I deep dive on a few topics.

In life we may fall off, we may take a wrong step but it's our responsibility to pick ourselves back up and do what's right.  I had scheduled a podcast to be uploaded last Saturday but after reviewing it I wasn't pleased and pulled it with no replacement.  As each day went on I constantly told myself I needed to record another one to replace it and now it's here.

With there being a 6/6 and the January 2021 Tobago House of Assembly election, the island was left at a stand still and after months of deliberation the Island of Tobago was expected to return to the polls in December 2021 almost 11 months after the split.  I made the decision to not vote in January and I held my ground and also didn't vote in December.  With many persons saying that I was apart of the problem and that I needed to vote to make an impact.  I recorded this podcast during the election period and with a new year I finally decided to upload it.

With a new year we tend to begin with our life resolutions, "New Year, New Me" and many of us never reflect on the past and by extension prepare and manifest for the future.  In this weeks podcast we take a glimpse at 2021 as we eagerly enter 2022.  So, I challenge each listener to form a vision board, to reflect on the ups and downs of the past year and manifest their path for 2022.

This episode is dedicated to chapters six to eleven of my book "The 19 Year Itch".  It gives you a glimpse of the writing process what inspired each chapter and the impact it had on my life.  Even more important the impact I want each reader to have.

So, I have been single for what feels like 2 years, I don't really remember I know I've been happy for a while and that's all that matters.  But we are in a generation that thinks being single means you're lonely and it really isn't.  I tackle a few of those points in the week's episode.  Part 2 will be out soon so stay tune.
