Waxing Lyrically

It's our pleasure to welcome 3 unique talents to the Lyric family!  Each plays a prominent role in "Clue: The Stage Play", premiering February 19th!

Kandice Harris plays the sanctimonious Mrs. Peacock.

Ryan McCormick plays the mysterious Mr. Boddy.

& Levi Packer plays the egotistical Professor Plum.

I know you'll enjoy these 3 interviews.

And remember to get those tickets to see the hilarious Clue at the Brownwood Lyric Theatre!

Today's show features 2 of the Lyric's finest!  Host Valarie Nelson interviews Jonathan Harvey.  Both of their theatre resumes are amazing.  Here, Val oozes personality and knows just how to get Jonathan to open up.  And Jonathan just has that velvety smooth voice that makes you crave more.  And his dramatic reading at the end is not to be missed.  Look for both of these talents in the Lyric's upcoming stage play Clue. Happy New Year!

At the time of this posting you still have several opportunities to see this show, but due to social distancing seating is limited.  So go to brownwoodlyrictheatre.com to get your tickets!

This should whet your appetite for what promises to be great live entertainment.

The unsinkable Shannon Lee joins us this week ahead of directing her first show for The Lyric, "A Christmas Story".  We talk about that iconic story and then delve into her inspiring life and career.

Devoted husband, doting grandfather, loved educator, civic leader, pastor....and, oh yeah, beloved director at the Brownwood Lyric Theatre. Hello Larry!

So you think YOU love musical theatre?  Jennifer Reeves lives and breathes it!  It's a fun conversation with Keren Myers sitting in the host seat.

"Let's run this puppy."  I hope you enjoy my interview with Dr. Nancy Jo Humfeld.  I did my best to not get my "tang tungled" and maintain "decorum" at all times.  At any rate, it's my hope that our conversation will result in many "happy faces".
