This week your host sits down with Kris and Jimmy Henry. This husband/wife duo is SO vital to the Lyric's success! (Kris as stage manager and Jimmy as set builder) Enjoy
As promised, your show creator takes a backseat on this episode, turning the reins over to a seasoned Lyric performer (his beautiful wife) and relative newcomer Keren Myers. Pretend these two good friends are sitting at a local coffee shop, waxing lyrically, and you're eavesdropping on their conversation.
Since moving to Brownwood 4 years ago, Val’s already made her mark on the Lyric Stage. Now, thanks to the miracle of podcasting, here’s your chance to get know her off the stage. Val recently was having a …“not so good” day. Looking for a pick-me-up, she asked her facebook friends to describe her in one word. Well, this exercise turned out to be the perfect way to introduce her. So, with no further ado, here’s the amazingly beautiful, talented, charismatic, caring, gregarious, dramatic, compassionate, creative, sincere, infectious, loyal, quirky, generous, bubbly, adorable SUPERSTAR…Valarie Nelson!
It's only fitting that the man that's graced the lyric stage more than any other, joins us on our inaugural show. Welcome Matthew McNiece.
Stick around as Managing Director Eric Evans joins me at the end to let you all know what's going on at the Lyric. Although, just like everything else in this pandemic world we now live in, plans seem to change daily out of necessity.
Lastly, a shout out to our announcer Curt Schneider for sharing his golden voice.
