Wayside Bible Chapel

Welcome to Wayside Bible Chapel. We preach Christ throughout the Word of God, and we let him do the talking. If you are tired of topical sermons and bite-sized platitudes, you have come to the right place. Join us as we dig deeper into the living Word!

Jesus asked the disciples who people were identifying him to be. Then He asked them who they thought He was. Our answer should affect everything we do. A quote from C.S. Lewis debunks the possibility that He was just a good moral teacher. Who do you say He is?

Jesus gave all power and authority to his disciples to cast out demons and heal diseases. Then, he handed over his ministry... but even when crowds numbering in the thousands showed up hungry, they lacked faith. Do you believe that Christ gave you all power and authority in heaven? Can you do what he has called you to, even when it seems impossible?

Who are you really? This Mother's Day, I wanted to take a few minutes to point out some of the lies we hear every day and remind us all of who we are according to God's Word.

His ways are always best. We need to understand that to doubt that is foolish. Will you reach out and touch Him even now as we close with a moment of silence? Will you take that time daily to be still with Him?

After Jesus miraculously calmed the waters on the Sea of Galilee, He and the disciples landed in a Greek region. He was met by a demonic welcoming committee. Jesus set the man free from being possessed by thousands of demons. Does that happen today? The sermon concludes with the true account of a man that prison guards named, The Animal.
