When can I go on pointe?

Its a common question all ballet teachers around the world hear, from students of all ages... The answer is the same for everyone who asks this question: That's the wrong question.

The question you should be asking is, "Am I ready for pointe?"

Pointe is an enormous, and often underestimated, commitment. We chat to four of our beginner pointe students to learn what this commitment has meant for them and to get an insight into their very different journeys on the pink satin road.
