David vs. Goliath or Sharon vs. Multinational Corporation (SNFW)

Sharon realized one day, that things just were not right at Steve Nash Fitness World. Employees were being taken advantage of and being forced to work for unpaid hours. They were also on a sliding pay scale depending on what activity they were performing. Groups of employees were being left out of company wide meetings. Employees were being threatened by high ranking management. The culture was not healthy. After listening to this podcast, you’ll learn how one employee, can end up taking a company to court in a 20-million-dollar lawsuit.

I would like everyone to be very mindful that Steve Nash actually has nothing to do with this company and has personally sued them himself, and won.

Being in a multi cultural city allowed me the sobering oppourtunity to further understand the root of what makes people happy. In such a big, expensive, overwhelming city like London. It doesn't have anything to do with fashion, cars, apartment location.....it still comes down to inter personal connections with family, friends and community. Almost everyone that we met, and would want to have a conversation, came from a very humbled up bringing. All of these people had life to them, happiness through mediocrity, would make eye contact, would laugh, would tell stories and invite us in to their lives.

There are amazing people walking amoung us and Pearl is one of those people. She willingly puts her life on hold to travel with an NGO, to third world countries to help offer a higher standard of life. We often take the simple things, like shelter for granted, but when you are a provider of shelter that is powerful. 

Industry professionals PLEASE STOP making it so complicated. Just tell people the truth. Let's all offer the public a sobering perspective on how easy this can be. Put the health of our nation above your personal gain!

No, it isn't easy to always wake up early. No, I don't always want to. But how you chose to feel about it. How you chose to embrace the experience. What systems you build to be successful, are critical to your survival in any situation that will test you. Waking up early tests my foritutde, my honor, my integrity and it is my privilege to put my feet on the floor, when I chose to.
