Today on the We Are Made Podcast, Imani is joined by Atlanta based cinemagrapher, Eric Saulsberry. Born to a single mother in Mobile, Alabama. When he received the opportunity to attend college out of state on a music scholarship, he took the chance. It was here that his outlook began to evolve, he was shocked to discover just how deeply impacted he was by his new environment. He grew up poor while many of his peers didn’t. For Eric he couldn’t imagine where he would be and just how much the act of creating would lead him to a greater sense of happiness. Introducing this weeks origin story, Eric Saulsberry.

She attended The School of the Art for high school, but soon she found that her desire to feel normal didn’t align with her pursuit in poetry anymore. She took some time off and soon discovered a greater solace in the medium of art as a form of expression. But it didn’t stop there, her journey evolved and so did she. Originally born in Chicago, Illinois, after relocating to Atlanta, GA, he soon grew an interest for music, classical music to be exact. Whether it was the introduction of sound, or the great influence of angles, John knew there was more to the eye of his passions and he followed where they led him.
