A few weeks ago, we stumbled across a post that laid out all the reasons why candidates don’t get calls back. The list was full of things that were subjective and had nothing to do with the candidate’s experience or ability to create value and impact.  

Let’s be honest, our idea of what professionalism looks like is derivative of white culture. We ask people to bring their authentic selves and then punish them when they don’t fit the mold. This sort of thinking leads to lack of access to opportunities, economic exclusion, and poverty.  During this week's episode, we're diving into this with Cristina R.
