Annalise, with 12 years of experience, discusses the importance and procedures of hospice care, dispelling misconceptions, and highlighting the support it offers both patients and their families. Her and Ken explore how hospice care is accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay, and the interdisciplinary team's role in providing holistic care, including bereavement support.

Annalise also explains the difference between hospice and palliative care, emphasizing the importance of early engagement and planning. Unique services like music, massage therapy and the use of therapy animals help improve patient comfort and reduce anxiety.
