We Are Triangle Podcast

Dave Cranstoun came to Triangle as a CO-OP in the summer of 2015 and was hired full time in the spring of 2017. Hi is now a Manufacturing Engineer. Nicholas Magro first came to Triangle as a college CO-OP in the summer of 2017. He was hired full time in 2019 and is now a Quality Engineer.

They share a unique perspective having had this CO-OP opportunity in their careers. This advantage has become their compass as they navigate their roles as mentors to the CO-OP class of 2022. They have been collaborating for months to make sure they provide extraordinary learning experiences for these future Engineers.

Jonathan de la Cruz Pimentel has been a Triangle associate since the beginning of 2019 and has quickly moved up the ladder and across multiple disciplines. He is extremely curious and highly motivated, starting as a material handler in two medical cells. He was fascinated by the machines and asked to be trained on them. He is now a #CNC operator.

Overcoming hardships from an early age, Jonathan emigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic when he was eighteen and has not looked back. He has always taken the path of more resistance, learning as much as he can, and is eager to continue this process with dreams of tackling software programming for the machines that he works on next.

Eric Dobkin has been a Triangle associate for more than 11 years and has been recognized for his ingenuity and process development skills. Recently, the unique position of Production Engineer was created for Eric, where he leverages his problem-solving capabilities with his understanding of engineering processes. Collaborating with manufacturing engineers and CNC programmers, he is the "glue" to developing process improvements and efficient workflow management.

As he navigates this new opportunity and literally defines his new job responsibilities, he is especially excited for the new automated technologies that Triangle has invested in and its impact on overall production capabilities.

Dr. Samuel Lieber is an Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Engineering & Technology at New Jersey Institute of Technology. With undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering from NJIT, Sam enjoyed a successful career in the industry. But he always dreamed of one day returning to an educational setting where he could share his experiences and prepare future engineers for careers in the real world.

Today he runs the NJIT Makerspace, a rapid prototyping and collaboration facility where engineers, architects, designers, and scientists can create and test ideas, put theory into practice, and turn ideas into reality. This 21st-century prototyping, manufacturing, and collaborative space allows students, faculty, and industry partners, to build physical systems in a functional and inspirational environment. Alex has been at Triangle for 11 years as a CNC Programmer. He emigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union to escape a life of discrimination and limited personal freedom. With his wife and daughter, they built a rewarding, free life in America and are grateful for the opportunities they now enjoy.

In his spare time, he pays it forward by teaching CNC programming at Bergen Community College. He is also a passionate sailor and he and his wife spend weekends and vacation time sailing the Northeast waters on their new home, a 42' Catalina.

Laurie is a Quality Manager and has been with Triangle for 8 years. Craig is now a Senior CNC Programmer and has been an associate for 17 years. As a married couple both working at Triangle, Laurie and Craig have managed to navigate the potential issues that can arise from spouses working together.

At work they maintain a professional relationship as coworkers and at home they are spouses and have rules about not bringing their work home with them. The pandemic presented some challenging problems for their family and work schedules, which they worked out in real time. Being flexible was essential.

Tiffany has consistently proven herself in the 7 years that she has been with Triangle. She has taken on more responsibilities with each year and now runs the Quality Assurance function in the department. She also supervises Product Verification Inspection and Document Review associates. As you will learn, Tiffany loves her job!
