Welcome my servants, it is your Mother Superior and I just recorded another episode In the Secretary's Secret Lair. I discus Nunsploitation and four movies. The first is The Nun and the Devil, then The True Story of the Nun of Monza, followed by a great Japanaese Nunsploitation, School of the Holy Beast. Lastly, the movie that started it all, The Devils. Some of these films ar e based on history, and I will tell you their stories. In the psychology break I discus Spiritual abuse, coercive control and sexual repression. So settle down and come join me and while you are here, don't forget to pay your respects to Father Lono and Father Ian on We Belong Dead Podcast, where you will find me in the dungeons.
Admit it, you've missed us. At least a little bit, right? Well, apologies for playing hard to get lately, but hopefully we're past this hump of random life shit getting in the way of our studio time. That being said, we have got a helluva show for you this week! Once we get past the sad, but hopefully cathartic, heavy hitter RIPs, we have got plenty of goodies in store for you. We discuss new stoner food concoctions, actual magicians and the celebs who are scared of em, surprisingly delicious grocery store chicken salad, and so much more! Oh, and we also talk about some horror-related stuff too, if you're into that sort of thing. So sit back, relax, and allow us to ooze over you with We Belong Dead 117!

Ahoy freaks! I know, I know, where the hell is WBD ep. 117??? Well, it's been delayed to this weekend due to unforseen circumstances. Fear not, megasode 117 is right around the corner! So, to bridge that grimey little gap, Captain Lono is here to give ya a sneak peak into the next full episode! BUT, the main focus of this Fresh Grave is our Lord and Savior, Joe Bob Briggs, and the upcoming Shudder specials we have to look forward to VERY soon! So, please, accept my apologies, and I hope you enjoy this voyage into yet another WBD: Fresh Grave! Hello, It's the secretary here taking over the write up again. I'm not nearly as clever as my boss but here goes. In episode 8 I discuss The Fly (1986), Halley (2012) and Thanatomorphose (2012). On the surface all three films involve a protagonist facing decomposition and deterioration. But these films are more than superficial body horror. They are all faced at one point with loneliness and an existential crisis with mortality and their place in the world. So come join me as we burrow into these three self-reflective movies.
To honor the 50-year anniversary of the "event" that gave birth to the greatest horror film of all-time, Uncle Lono has thrown all 9 movies from the franchise into a crock pot, and slow-cooked them fuckers for this rushed, raw, and ragged dispatch! Here for yer listening pleasure, Lono awkwardly unleashes his thoughts on each entry! "Looks like I've fallen apart on ya, honey..." -LG

So spark up a number and hang out with me for a bit, as I babble stony about some things Venture. Got any questions about The Venture Bros. for me? Leave 'em right down below in the comments, and in my next Fresh Grave I'll answer 'em! #Horror #HorrorGeek #HorrorLife #HorrorPunk #Podcasts #HorrorPodcast #WeBelongDeadPodcast #FreshGraves #VentureBros #GoTeamVenture #RadiantIsTheBloodOfTheBaboonHeart #JacksonPublick #DocHammer #MutantFam #Love
Hello, It's the secretary here taking over the write up since I am getting this out a little late in the month. I discuss The Strangers, Mandy and A Serbian Film. All three films share some similarities but the theme I pulled out and will discuss further in the psychology portion, is desperation. I'm sure we all have experienced this one way or another and it has compelled us to do things that we may be embarrassed of once we gain clarity as in one of our films but it also has the power to make us take risk when we may not otherwise do so. These risk may lead to our demise or triumph. Either way it forces movement and progression and that is what has allowed our civilization to continue and grow since the beginning of time.
We are back in the studio kiddos, so listen up and prepare yourselves for another (almost) lethal dose of We Belong Dead! We know you were worried about us not putting out content due to the strikes, but we decided to put our film careers on hold to give you more of the reefer-fueled content that you so desperately crave. So sit in your comfiest chair, pull out your favorite paraphernalia, and enjoy We Belong Dead 115!
