In this episode of We Build Worlds, host Arel Avellino is talking with Justin Wu, the founder of DcentralCon, the biggest cross-chain event in history.
Justin is all in on a cross-chain future where blockchains are just as common as apps and are seamlessly integrated so all your digital products can pass from one chain to another without breaking a sweat.
We cover Justin's long history of events, why he started Dcentral, what people can expect if they go to Dcentral Austin, and why IBC matters for a cross-chain future.
Dcentral Austin is happening June 7th-8th

Our guest today is Jonathan Caras, Head of Communication at Levana Protocol which is a Perpetual Swaps platform built on Terra.
What Jonathan and the team behind Levana Protocol are doing is very interesting, but what’s even more exciting is their approach to bringing it to the market: rather than just delivering a perpetual swaps platform, they are building a game on top of it.
This strategy is very similar to what we are doing with Passage, by building the Strange Clan game on top of it. So I was incredibly excited to bring Jonathan onto the show to hear more about it.

This week's guest was Chjango Unchained of Interchain.fm. Chjango has been involved in the cosmos space for a while and has made a carrier out of explaining blockchain technology in a way that is not only technically accurate, but also understandable for listeners.
We wanted to talk with Chjango about the future of Cosmos and where it can go with NFTs, the Metaverse, and Play-to-Own gaming. We believe that what is being built in the Cosmos ecosystem will power blockchain technologies for years to come, and we wanted to get Chjango's thoughts on that, as well as answer any questions our community might have regarding Cosmos and it's surrounding technologies.

On this weeks episode of We Build Worlds. Michael and Arel discuss what different games would look like if they decided to integrate blockchain. With the advent of blockchain gaming we've seen a lot of games try to integrate the technology, but most of them end up looking like different versions of card battlers or Pokemon collectors. We were wondering what different game genres would look like if they decided to integrate blockchain. We wanted to discuss how the technology could be integrated into these games without it feeling like a gimmick or a cash grab.

We wanted to talk to Lum because it is another project that is focused on consumers and bringing NON crypto people into crypto by exposing them to the practical benefits of it.

For this weeks episode, Arel and Michael selected a number of tweets from the crypto twitter space and shared our thoughts and whether or not we agreed with the sentiment. The Crypto space is still evolving, things change rapidly and we never know what’s going to happen next, so we wanted to take a second to talk about a couple of things that happened in the crypto space recently, from opinions about bear markets to a misunderstanding of intellectual property, things are never boring in the space.
Remember that you can join us live every Wednesday at 3pm eastern time.
