Tovah is up at the bat and Rielly is throwing curve balls asking all the big questions to find out the little details that Tovah hasn’t shared over the last season. Some big and not so big transformations fueled by a lot of faith and a lot of hope. Get to know your hosts in ways that are new, fun and definitely embarrassing. Let’s get bold!

Today We Go Boldly solo. As in when people don’t follow us into the transformation. Our conversation goes full swing into the ways in which we can transform throughout our lives and the impact it has on our relationships.
How do we navigate our various pathways forward, our life transformations, our emotional and physical expansions with the people in our lives? Each time we choose a life transformation, or something happens to impact our path we forge a new connection with ourselves and with the people in our lives. Sometimes that brings the people we connect to closer, and sometimes it causes a relationship to end. Either way is okay and a natural part of life.
Join us in exploring the reality of what it means to live a limitless life, full of faith and transformation. Let us know what you think about transformation and relationships on social media or via email. Reach out today!

We Go Boldly this week with Manya Brachear Pashman and continue our deep dive into faith and transformation. Our conversation took us from the personal to the global and everywhere in between. Manya is an incredible human with so much insight into this topic and even more importantly, she is so much fun to talk to!
Manya is a longtime religion writer. She hosts People of the Pod, an AJC podcast about global affairs through a Jewish lens, and writes for Moment Magazine, Religion News Service and The Times of Israel. For 15 years, she served as the religion reporter for the Chicago Tribune where she helped chronicle two papal transitions from Rome, progress and pitfalls of interfaith dialogue, and the emerging role of religion in American politics.
From 2016 until 2019, she served as president of the Religion News Association and in 2019 she won RNA’s first place award for Excellence in Religion Reporting for an investigative project on one of the nation's most influential evangelical megachurches. She also has taught journalism at Northwestern and Columbia Universities' schools of journalism. She earned a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and masters' degrees in journalism and religious studies from Columbia University. In addition to the Chicago Tribune, she has written for the Times of Israel, Time magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Beliefnet.com and the News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C.

This week Rielly and Tovah discuss the difference between internal and external transformations. Some transformations may change us deeply while others are more surface. Can we keep a transformation that is only surface?
Is life one continuous transformation and we don’t notice it happening? What happens when we choose not to transform? Is that even an option? What prevents our transformations? How do you go about making personal transformations? How do you make sure your transformation is going in the right direction?
As you can see there are a lot of questions this week and we do our best to answer them all. Join us as we take this deep dive into what transformation is and how we can make sure it lasts.

What does transformation look like? We have been asking our guests this question week after week and this week we finally took the time to answer it ourselves. Deep inner transformations can happen in the most familiar and ordinary places and situations. While transformation is a continual process it can often feel like it happens all of a sudden.
We hit bottom so hard and it feels like it takes so long to climb our way out. Why is that? Why can’t we transform all of a sudden? Sadly, the process of transformation is rarely a perfect, linear path that we walk through with grace and ease. What does transformation look like to you?
Join us this week as we share what transformation looks like for us?

On this week’s episode we are spending some time with a new friend and all around fantastic human. We had the privilege to talk to her some time ago and know that her story and insight is something you won’t want to miss.
Sameena Safdar Kluck is an innovation evangelist and social media strategist. A former practicing lawyer, she has spent years working in large and small legal technology companies, first in sales and then in legal marketing and branding.
Last year Sameena founded Amplify Your Voice LLC to help companies and individuals find their voice and niche in the world. She helps them define and hone their brand and then use social media and business development to share that authentically and boost their visibility.
Amplify Your Voice works with all types of companies, especially lawyers, law firms, and legal technology companies. Sameena especially likes to work with women and BIPOC people to find ways to authentically promote their brand to build better connections, expand their networks, and reach their career goals.
She also writes and speaks nationally on personal branding, employee advocacy programs, innovation and emerging technologies, access to justice, and diversity, inclusion, and equity, both in the legal industry and in all types of businesses.
Additionally, Sameena raises teens in Washington, DC, taking advantage of all the museums, festivals, national parks, theatres, and restaurants the city has to offer, and spends far too much time on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
We learn all about her faith journey and the many transformations her life has taken, some planned and some but fate. We can’t wait for you to meet her!

Doubt and faith are interlinked so much and it is often when we have doubts that we need faith the most. This week we dive into the heart of what happens when we have our doubts and we have a crisis of faith. Whether those doubts are huge or small (yes, Tovah shares her concerns about not having a preferred type of coffee) we need to figure out how to move through our doubts.
Whether you're religious or not, you can still lose faith. Losing faith might mean no longer believing in values you used to live by; not wanting to do the things that usually bring you joy or peace; not seeing the purpose or meaning of anything; no longer believing in your religion, or questioning parts of your religion; asking questions like "where is God now?" and "why is God allowing me to suffer?"
Losing faith can be similar to grief but all is not lost, even if it feels like it is. Tovah and Rielly and the episode talking about what you can do help move through your doubt and find your faith again.
As always we end with some homework and action items. Faith is a personal journey, join us as we talk this walk together!

Last week on the We Go Boldly Podcast we did a deep dive into how to build a community with trust and vulnerability. We looked out how you can lead a faith community or even yourself by establishing trust. This week we continue the conversation on faith and transformation with a wonderful guest and Tovah’s longtime friend, Sheryl Holland.
Our conversation starts out with an unexpected conversation all about finding your knowing and listening to your inner voice even at a very young age. What a treat! You will definitely want to listen in as we then continue to talk about the origin of faith and transformation on today’s episode.
Sheryl was born, raised, and continues to live in Lancaster, PA. She attended and graduated from Mount Aloysius college with a degree in interpreting for the Deaf. Sheryl is a certified sign language interpreter, doing freelance work .
Sherly has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 18 years, and has a son Matthew and a daughter Julia. In my free time, I love to run, spend time with friends, and like our own Rielly, Sheryl likes to drink really good coffee.
We end our conversation with Sheryl’s amazing advice as to what true transformation looks like. You don’t want to miss this!
