Having confidence is much easier said than done.

In this episode of We Grow Together, Laura DiFrancesco offers her advice on how to build confidence in work and personal life. Confidence is like a muscle; it takes time and effort to grow. Laura states that one of the best ways to do so is to focus on your confidence in low stake situations. This will then translate to other situations in your life where you feel a little more uncomfortable. It's important to not be discouraged by your “failures,” as they are just steps to becoming more knowledgeable about a skill or topic. Laura shares other mindset shifts, such as redirecting guilt and implementing positive self talk, and provides daily habits such as writing down wins and doing tasks outside of your comfort zone. Confidence is a skill like any other that takes time to grow, so have patience in yourself and keep with the forward momentum.

Flourish Coworking Space in Westchester, PA is a hub for community building and empowering female entrepreneurs. However, it does not exist today without a history of struggles. In today’s episode of We Grow Together, Laura DiFrancesco discusses the journey of opening and sustaining Flourish through a time of uncertainty. The business opened in March 2020, the beginning of the global Covid-19 pandemic. For a space that operates by people visiting in-person, Flourish was hit hard by the quarantine and the lingering fear that followed the shut-down. Despite the pandemic and Laura’s other personal obstacles, she still values the business to this day. Laura shares her love for Flourish, an idea that was conceived during her days in law school, and discusses what the future may hold for the business.
