The guys welcome their friend Troy back to Helena on this episode! Dub starts with a detailed description of his run-in with a bullshit lunch consisting of nothing more than soup and salad. Matt wonders if there’s anyone who actually flaunts their hipsterdom. He brings in Word of the Day and also ponders the downfall of CNN. Dub talks about the history of the word ‘thug’, which originated in India. Doug and Mac are back at it again talking rappers with cookie monster voices, as well as Miley Cyrus’ groundbreaking performance at the VMAs. Matt gets into it with some dude on facebook about it, hilarity ensues. They talk white appropriation again, and also discuss profit sharing economic systems. Protien diets make your shit smell weird, that may just be news to them it seems. They also discuss vacationing in poorsville, and how your diet changes when you don’t have money. Matt brings a story of Murder on facebook. They then give you a taste of Marvin Gaye’s isolated vocal track on ‘I heard it through the grapevine’ – straight haunting my dude!
