Dub and Matt begin this week’s adventure by discussing their problem with talking too much. This moves quickly into a deep conversation about television versus movies nowadays and getting too attached to fictional TV characters. Shows discussed include: Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother, and Lost. Are you a multimedia multitasker? If so, you’re lying to yourself and others. This starts the long aural journey into such topics as listening to podcasts over music and how podcasts are saving the radio format. Matt and Dub promote giving your art (art) away for free, and talk about the slippery slope of wanting to be famous. Wanting to be loved but also loving to piss people off with contrarian ideas raises the question: What is the acceptable ratio of hate to love from the public?Fun Facts! They explore the ins and outs of biting your own finger off. They then ponder trying to raise a child suffering from CIPA (Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis). Dub talks about CAPTCHA, spammers and making weak money for lame work. They jump on the defensive when you accuse them of not doing enough about the world’s poverty.CMFE featuring Ed Gein, and then the dangers of your local carnival!

Joining Matt and Dub this week is their friend John from The Jesters Bar. Many conspiracy theories are examined, including The Dark Knight Rises shooter, JFK, JFK Reloaded, and they demonstrate at length the futility of talking gun control. Matt recounts some memorable tall tales from a pizza joint he used to work at, and Dub does the same. Laura/Tom Gabel are discussed, along with the implications his lifestyle change will have on his music. Real talk baby.

Matt and Dub bring their longtime compatriot Killer Kyle into the studio for some conversation about spiders.They also dig deep into the Jerry Sandusky/Penn. State scandal, taking odds on when he kills himself. A threeway space movie battle royale then ensues, between some movies that shouldn’t really have been compared in the first place. Armageddon (Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck), Apollo 13 (Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon), and Deep Impact (Morgan Freeman, Morgan Freeman). Blair Witch gets more attention than it should, probably. Killer Kyle gives the listeners at home a taste of his sultry Portuguese tounge, as well as a story of almost getting busted using it. Kyle breaks down and admits he sleeps in the nude, shit is baller as always.

A week late and completely unapologetic about it, Matt and Dub return to the spider hole with yet another guest! This week it’s our own Aaron D., better known as our Denver coorespondent. Aaron regales the WHGL listening audience with some awesome ideas he’s developing regarding launguage and communication, and how language ties in with what we classically refer to as our senses. Plenty of talk about evolution, technology and the future. The different roads, they are as horrifying as they are imagination capturing.Dub tries to dig up some dirt on the late great Andy Griffith, fails. However one court case Matlock was involved in, he ended up on the wrong side of – and rightly so. Matt warms your heart with a story of a Christian rat who flew off the handle and most likely lost his job for it.This is the second time recording with Aaron, the first had severe technical difficulties. We’d like to thank him again for being a good sport!

Dub and Matt make good on their promise of bringing more guests on the show for the 5th season when their buddy Cody stops by to shoot the shit about life, love, friendship, days gone by, and some common misconceptions. The episode is long, strong, and similar to how they take their men: Black. They all keep it extremely real by peppering in some Would You Rathers, and some Rap Trivia. You won’t be disappointed. The episode picture (of Cody, that he painted himself) is a testament to Cody’s talent as an artist, keen sense of contrast and color usage, as well as his deep love and admiration for himself.

This week Dub and Matt are doing a remote episode from the Stone Estates Carriage House in Missoula, MT. This is their first episode with guests JStone and Mat Hogan. The rules are simple: Each person has five minutes to lay out and discuss a topic of their choosing. At the end of five minutes, the whistle is blown and they all have to move to the next topic. The catch? At the beginning of each round, everyone takes a shot of booze. Chaos and hilarity ensue. ROUND 1:Stone discusses the show Ancient Aliens, The Missing Link, and crazy cave drawings. Matt brings an article about an arrogant woman boasting on Twitter. Hogan talks about a mishap involving Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg. Dub reminds us that MC Hammer was once signed to Death Row Records. ROUND 2:Stone, ever the innovator, discusses his love of internet memes and new memes he’d like to see created. Matt is hiring for a new job, he’s conducting three interviews all at once. Hogan discusses the case of the inharmonious E-Harmony herpes. Dub follows with a hypothetical situation for Stone. ROUND 3:Stone introduces a new segment and talks about Julijonas Urbonas and his Euthanasia Rollercoaster. Matt brings the Would You Rather questions. Sports talk with Mat Hogan, a discussion about the incredible Doc Ellis. Dub brings it home by planning out fun things to do on our next trip to Las Vegas.

Dub and Matt start this episode with a conversation about the weather in Montana lately. Enthralling conversation ensues.They momentarily re-examine the mysterious cold-case file of the Joslin’s Furniture jingle. Matt discusses the Guinness World Record holder for Having a Good Life, or something along those lines. You’ll see what he means. This eventually dissolves into a conversation between Dub and Matt about elementary school pisscapades. Dub reveals what a scumbag Rick James really was, which leads to comparisons to O.J. Simpson, Al Capone, and John Dillinger. Dub then brings us all back to the harsh reality of Coldest Motherfuckers Ever, featuring Amelia, The Baby Farmer, Dyer. It gets brutal! Matt brings a new feature to light with Would You Rather. Not incredibly original…but incredibly fun!They discuss such films as The Invisible Man (1933), Titanic, Inception, and Dark Shadows. As well as actors Johnny Depp, Leo DiCaprio, Gloria Stewart and Helena Bohnam Carter.They end with an outline of next week’s episode.

Matt and Dub are back for the fifth season of We Had a Good Life with some bad harmonies for a local business jingle. They touch briefly on Memorial day before getting into more inventions that killed their masters. Aaron sends us an article about living for 1000 years. They follow that by getting deep again talking about art driving science, religion, and the ghost in the machine. Breaking News from Miami: Bath Salts will be the match that lights the powder keg which will eventually become the zombie apocalypse. The Toddlers and Tiaras scam is also on the menu, dilemmas, as well as a discussion about pride. Lines are crossed and envelopes are pushed all episode. Hangin’ in a chow line, good times.

Matt and Dub are back in the lab talking cell phone networks and Anne Rice’s Sleeping Beauty Rapey Trilogy of books, the sales figures may surprise you. They follow that up with how Egyptians used to make break like 6000 years ago, facinating and disgusting.They then get into some George Lucas neighbor drama, and the size of that man’s fucking neck these days. Then guess what, jackass, they talk briefly about the songs banned after September 11th by Clear Channel – and the one band in particular that got the ultimate shaft.
