It's about 1984 and Gemma is moving back home. A home she left long ago, but with her parents now gone it is up to her to keep the house together and grow a life of her own. With training in martial arts, survival arts, liberal arts, and stabbing stuff she's more than just the new neighbor. After possibly embezzling from her dead uncle's ranch, she is targeted by an organization of assassins known only as The LLC. 

They have no idea who they're dealing with. 

In this 1980s action movie trope-filled story, Gemma tries to save the day one reference at a time.

Copernicus is on a treasure hunt on the moon! Well, he's taking part in the treasure hunt at least. It is actually the amoeba, Franklin, in his brain controlling his every action in pursuit of the moon's cheese curd glory. The single-cell organism just loves cheese curds and believes the moon to be the best source around.
