What a day it was at the CBS Arena when Leicester City came to Coventry along the M69 for the derby game.
Anyone want a Sky Blues Fancast? Oh go on then. With Lorna Bailey on this week’s episode it’s BBC CWR’s Clive Eakin and fancasters Sue and Jamie.
Together they look back on an historic day at the CBS which saw Coventry City go one nil down after Dewsbury-Hall scored from the penalty spot at the end of the first half and in a few minutes of drama Leicester City then went down to 10 men after a foul on Jake Bidwell.
Bring on the second half and Coventry City took advantage of the extra man and after Mark Robins made some excellent substitutions Callum O’Hare went on to score another brace with Milan van Ewijk scoring in between the two to take them ahead. It finished 3-1. Yes, 3-1 in what was apparently our Cup Final! Ha! Pass the salt…
You’ll hear from Callum O’Hare – and yes there’s chat about his contract as well as the thoughts on new signing Victor Torp and a look ahead to a double helping of Sheffield Wednesday! Leicester City, top of the league… you’re having a laugh.
