Babbu & Scam have returned from holiday break and not much has changed. Your rents still sky high, public transportation still dysfunctional, and capitalism is what will ruin us all.

But at least the bhoys let their two "uncles" David Goodwin & Jim Aloisi come back and provide a few predictions on what they see as the growing issues of Jersey City, New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts respectively.

AirBNBs, public parks becoming golf courses, free public transportation, and a Gateway Project that will never get started.

2020 with that zero vision. They love to see it.

The bhoys had one more left in 2019 and had to go back to basics.

So they gave Neema Avashia, your local Boston Public School teacher, a chance to give them some knowledge on daily life as one and what makes BPS great. But it also has it's problems, so you know Babbu & Scam want a piece of that.

Biggest budgets ever (when they never go down), the McCormack Fieldhouse saving the school itself, bathrooms in disarray, and BuildBPS... so many things, so little time.

Babbu & Scam recorded this last Friday, 10/18 so they are certainly not in the positive moods they presented.

But they are reaching the end of this #darkhorse series before Election Day on 11/5 so they had Liz Breadon running for District 9, Allston/Brighton.

She reminds Scam of his mother, Babbu was supremely impressed with her environmentalism, and they came away nodding at everything she was saying. Babbu almost sold the house in Jersey ready to get gouged by a realtor.

The bhoys got a real one here running for Boston City Council At-Large.

First, they rant about housing, because who doesn't anymore.

And then Julia (12:55) brought the laughs about her time at MTV, the reasons she's running for local office, the issues she's most passionate about, and what she hopes this race turns out to be on November 5th.

Scam spent a weekend in Buffalo. He ate all the wings, he consumed the Molson Canadians, and lived off of Tim Hortons. It's a different way of life for the Bills Mafia.

And then Babbu & Scam got into the Boston City Council Preliminary Election. It shook out as you expected for the top 3, but that 4th spot.. let them fight.

Election Day is November 5th. Let's be better than the 11% turnout.

The bhoys continue their #DarkHorse series but the Globe must have been listening in since they went and endorsed the guy. Can't blame them.

David Halbert is running for At-Large and poured some milk out about his campaign and the platform, his idea of collaborative government, and having the opportunity to represent black men on the City Council since Tito Jackson.

Babbu & Scam keep the #DarkHorse series going. This time it's with Lee Nave, a candidate for District 9.

An outsider taking a risk so the bhoys wanted to pick Lee's brain about being a Democratic Socialist, his campaign, and the issues that seem to be where everyone's focus is. (Shocker, it's housing.) They also harp on the similarities of where he grew up to Boston regarding race and the Straight Pride Parade.

A lot of milk to be poured with another candidate risking it all.
