Fresh off the release of their newest album Fission, we got the opportunity to sit down and speak with the members of Odd City! For those unfamiliar, Odd City are a Detroit-based band made up of Mike Szuminski (vocals, lead guitar), Mike Kap (bass, vocals), Pavel Guysinsky (rhythm guitar) and Brett Redwood (drums). With their new record Fission finally out, it was the cherry on top of our multiple listens to be able to really pick their brains and get the specific details on how it came together, the meaning behind it all, and what might be on the horizon for the future. Freshly released and fantastic as ever, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Mark Joshua all about his newest EP, Sedated. Currently based out of Hamilton, Ohio, Mark Joshua is a Filipino-American singer and songwriter who is leading the charge with his sensational and uplifting vocals. Having been involved in music for quite some time now and actively writing his own music since the age of 13, his newest EP Sedated is a culmination of everything wonderful he’s shared thus far. Bringing an unmatched energy into the mix has ultimately led to the release of this record that we sincerely haven’t been able to turn off.

Fresh off the release of his debut single titled “Crickets”, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Clint Lightfoot all about the intricacies of the track and so much more. Written and recorded in his own personally built home studio, Clint Lightfoot has given “Crickets” his all and come out hot with an incredibly catchy debut single. Through our conversation with the artist, we covered a variety of topics ranging from his vast list of musical influences, what else is on the way, and plenty of specifics of how this song was recorded. For someone who’s starting on this journey slightly later in life, Clint left the impression that he’s feeling inspired and ready to put out more as soon as possible.

Fresh off the release of his newest EP Pop Man, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Steven Thad all about the background of his record.  Originally from the DMV area on the Eastern coast of the US, Steven Thad has been involved in the music scene for a majority of his life. With his latest EP Pop Man just released, Steven has put together an eclectic mix of originals and covers that have given listeners everywhere a taste of his style, sound, and what’s to come. Getting to speak with Steven was the cherry on top to a memorable listen, so we can’t wait for everyone to give this a spin.

Previewing the release of his single and music video for “Outlaw”, Marc Oliver dropped in for a riveting discussion on its background. For those somehow unfamiliar with the work of Marc Oliver, he’s been inundated with the music industry for over 25 years at this point. As a singer, songwriter, and so much more, this San Diego-based artist has quite the release schedule ahead of him, but is planning to lead things off with a genre-blended single titled “Outlaw” and a wonderful music video to accompany it. Our chat with Marc served as the perfect intro to his many accomplishments and to hear about what else is on the way.

Released officially in 2020, but still as fantastic today, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Mike Habhab all about his single, "What You've Been Doing to Me". Bordering on country and rock, Mike Habhab had a bit of help putting "What You've Been Doing to Me" from Producer and Engineer Chuck Alkazian, plus Zach Radcliff on the vocals. Written by Mike himself, ultimately he’s putting himself on the line and opening up to his personal experiences through vivid lyricism. Additionally, this song is a part of a full EP of tunes titled A Music Collection that we highly recommend you check out in full as well.

Back again with another genre-bending track titled “Insomnia”, we got the incredible opportunity to sit and speak with Oren Weizman of music collective, Rouse the Boroughs. Meeting up and collaborating from all corners of the world, Rouse the Boroughs is a music collective that has featured Oren Weizman, Huong Su, Martin Kutnar, Robin Chionna and Cameron Black. On their latest song “Insomnia”, the group has shown once more that they’re not holding themselves to a specific genre, rather feeling out the tune and molding to the tone. During our in-depth discussion with Oren, we learned the in’s and out’s of how the collective operates, what’s on the horizon, and their super interesting recording process.

Fresh off the release of his 7th full length record titled Dandelye, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Saun Santipreecha for a full breakdown of the album. Originally from Thailand, Saun Santipreecha is an immensely talented sound artist and electroacoustic composer who has legitimately created something like we’ve never experienced before. On his newest album Dandelye, the artist immerses the listener through 35+ minutes of intense soundscapes, ASMR-esque moments, and a sound production that’s almost difficult to put into words. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our listen and can’t wait for everyone out there to give this a spin and to check out our discussion.

Giving the world another piece of art that follows up her debut album, Samantha Leon dropped in for a full interview to discuss the intricacies of her newest EP, Mystic Lady. For those out of the loop, Samantha Leon is a singer, songwriter, and New York-native that delicately put together her personal life experiences into an outstanding EP she’s titled Mystic Lady. Luckily for us, we got the chance to sit and speak with Samantha in order to cover the background of the record, its recording process, what else is on the way, and a variety of other topics. Varied in sound, style, and genre, the artist has completely nailed it on her long awaited follow up, which is why we’ve got to overwhelmingly recommend a listen for all.

Staying incredibly prolific in his releases, Dyl4n Wood has dropped an all new one titled “Angel Wings”! Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with the artist to hear all about it. Currently representing the San Diego music scene, Dylan Wood is a 21 year old artist who’s making music that’s jam-packed with passion, emotion, and always aiming to highlight his personal experience. His newest song is called “Angel Wings” and it’s got a Hip Hop base to it that will undoubtedly make you want to come back for more. Of course getting to speak to him was the cherry on top of our listening experience, so we sincerely hope you take the time to give it a spin.
