Always looking to evolve his sound, Imvnyel has reemerged with his first track of 2022, “Conversations”! Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to sit down for a full interview. Having reviewed his work in the past, Imvnyel (pronounced “Emmanuel”), has served the world another beauty that he’s calling “Conversations”. For this Pittsburgh born and now Berlin-based singer and songwriter, he’s taking his deeply personal life experiences and turning them into heartfelt yet innovative sounding music. We’ve loved everything we’ve heard thus far, so obviously getting to sit with him for a chat was the true cherry on top to the experience.

Fresh off the release of their debut album titled Prayer, we got the wonderful opportunity to sit with collaborators Mark Shveima and John Ruszin to discuss the background of the record. Born in 2020 after the turmoil in the Spring, longtime friends and now musical collaborators Mark Shviema and John Ruszin came together to create the project called Mori Metanoia. Working tirelessly across the world from each other, they’ve finally released their lengthy debut album Prayer to the world. From its inception to the actual release date, the time spent and effort was completely worth it, because we’ve quickly fallen in love with the originality present in this record.

Staying as consistent as ever with his releases, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Graztopia all about his newest record, Bare Bones in the Attic. Currently based in Long Island, New York, Graztopia is the one man project of singer, songwriter, and looping artist, Dan Graziano. He’s taken his impeccable multi-instrumentalist skills and managed to create yet another feel good record he’s calling Barebones in the Attic. For us, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have gotten to sit and have a full conversation surrounding the release, what’s next on the horizon, and all the in’s and out’s of his process. Needless to say, this is a piece of music and conversation you’re not going to want to miss.

Fresh off the release of his debut EP titled This is Just a Simple Song, we got the incredible opportunity to sit and speak with Nick Stevens on his solo project, Hyde Park! Sharing his first record since 2009, the solo project of Hyde Park has truly allowed for Nick Stevens to fulfill his musical vision. Spanning 6 total tracks and running right around 20 minutes, the artist immediately transports the listener into his atmospheric world of sound. Says Nick on the background of the record, “This is Just a Simple Song offers a looking glass for anyone seeking to make sense of the most turbulent times in their lives and learn how to adjust accordingly”. We couldn’t agree more with that sentiment and honestly can’t wait for everyone to dig into this EP.

Hot off the release of one of our favorite records of the year, The Search For, we got the opportunity to speak with Confidential all about the background of it. Currently based out Brighton, Confidential wasn’t always the solo artist you’re about to hear today. In fact, he was a paramount part of many other bands, however he’s gone solo and is confidently making some of the best Hip Hop Lo-Fi music we’ve ever heard, seriously. From the mind of George Wakerley comes The Search For, a hefty record that showcases an extreme of talent from start to finish in nearly every facet of the word.

As the band gears up for their sixth official album release, we got the special opportunity to sit down with Jonathan Higgs of Everything Everything to talk about the finer details surrounding RAW DATA FEEL. Always striving to create something new, exotic, or sonically enticing, the music of Everything Everything has continued to evolve so much since their debut Man Alive back in 2010. Fast forward 12 years and they’ve risen the ranks to become one of music’s leading eccentric art rock acts that never put out the same song twice. With the release of RAW DATA FEEL coming on May 20th, 2022, the first single released so far “Bad Friday” is a wonderful glimpse into what old and new listeners can expect on the full record.

Fresh off the release of his stellar new record Under The Sun, Vol. 1, we got the lovely opportunity to sit and speak with George Jano all about the background of the album and so much more. For those somehow out of the loop, George Jano is putting together an eclectic mix of Folk, Blues, Rock, and Americana that’s combined to create a sensationally lush and relaxing sound. Truly creating a unique sound of his own, Stephen James The Artist was nice enough to drop in for a full chat on his most recently released single, “Euphoria”. Filled to the absolute brim with passion and emotion, every piece of music that Stephen James The Artist releases into the world has that certain genuineness about it. On his newest single “Euphoria”, that fact stays true. Getting to speak with Stephen all about this song and so much more was the perfect background for an artist who feels like he’s filled with allure. At only 18 years old, Isabella Chiarini is already making waves within the pop scene. Putting her own unique spin and artistic style into everything she does, the single and music video for “You & Me” are downright amazing. Of course getting to speak with her and get a behind the scenes look on the production was just the cherry on top, however the background she provided on herself and where she’s headed is worth checking out in its own right.

Kicking their year off extremely strong with a killer single called “Smilin’ Through”, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with one of the members of Elsewaves, Chris Kinkade! After a lifelong friendship of jamming and creating mind-bending music, the duo of Chris Kinkade and Rick Knotts are continuing to further their sound on their project, Elsewaves. In our newest interview with Chris specifically, we broke down the band’s newest song “Smilin’ Through”, detailed the recording process over the years, and uncovered what’s coming next for the band.
