Kicking off the New Year with an explosive new single called “Life of a Robot”, we got the extra special opportunity to sit and speak with the man behind the music, Coolmowee! Always striving to further his sound, all the while sticking to his 80’s inspired roots, the synthpop magic of Coolmowee is something we feel everyone needs to experience. From the mind of Maurice Edwards comes a brand new song that’s continuing to further his sound in the electronic space. It’s called “Life of a Robot” and it’s legitimately one of our favorite offerings from this artist so far.

Fresh off the release of her latest collaboration filled single titled “Bringing It Back”, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with emerging artist, Alexis Seas! Currently based out of Thonotosassa, Florida, Alexis Seas is already making waves within the industry at 19 years of age. Specializing in Pop, Hip Hop, among many other genre influences presented on her latest “Bringing It Back”, she’s really put together an incredibly vibrant and ear popping track that we’ve come to love. Of course getting to speak with her and learn the in’s and out’s of her process was a total joy as well.

Fresh off an eclectic new record titled BROKELAND Vol. 1, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with some of the members of music collective, BROKELAND! Currently based in Brooklyn, NY, BROKELAND aren’t your typical alternative rap group, in fact, they’re creating an extremely exotic sound that features some incredible samples. Infusing bits of the 60’s in terms of Frank Zappa, The Beatles, and the overall essence, we instantly fell in love with their record. Getting to speak with them was a blast as well, mainly because they kept it loose and had a great time expressing the background and processes of the album.

Truly thinking outside the box in his quest to get eyes on his growing discography, we got the extra special opportunity to speak with Emperor Steve all about his immersive audio gallery. Currently based out of Los Angeles, the music that Emperor Steve has been crafting up over the years has transcended genres. He creates what he feels and his musical influences range all the way from Aphex Twin and Daft Punk to Ween and N.E.R.D. Instead of a traditional release, what this artist has done is create an immersive audio gallery on his website that randomly takes you through 27 songs and infinite experiences. Legitimately, this is one of the coolest rollouts we’ve ever seen.

Fresh off of his latest record titled Keep Building, we got the opportunity to sit down and speak with the man behind the music, JUSTDAVEthe1! Born in Bangladesh, but now based in Saskatchewan, JUSTDAVEthe1 is a Hip Hop artist whose primary objective is to spread positivity through his always original music. Part of another project called Definitive Collective, this musician is making waves within his local scene. With the release of Keep Building just out, it was an absolute treat to get to talk him all about the in’s and out’s of the record.

With his full length album titled Yellow And Other Sounds set for release in 2022, we got the extra special opportunity to sit and speak with Sam Small. All the way from London and now residing in Austin, Texas, it’s been an incredibly long time coming, but Sam Small has been on a tear lately with his musical releases. Officially sharing 7 of the 12 tracks off Yellow And Other Sounds it was a total treat to get to be able to talk to him all about the impending record. At 77 years of age, he’s showing the world it’s absolutely never too late to get started on officially sharing music.

Just released and continuing to expand on his already diverse sound, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Bozaay all about his latest album, thanks for nothing. Currently representing the Sacramento music scene, Bozaay has put together another memorable album that we’re loving titled thanks for nothing. Ultimately created to help express his feelings through art, this is a compilation of 100% true life experiences detailed through music. We sincerely loved our time getting to speak with this emerging artist and all the details we learned about him in the process were the perfect cherry on top. This is 100% an interview you’re not going to want to miss.

Fresh off the release of his all new EP titled Love Drunk, we got the extra special opportunity to sit and speak with the artist behind the music, Faime. Garnering an immense amount of streams across his growing discography, we overwhelmingly feel that Faime’s latest EP Love Drunk is going to be the thing that propels him to the next level. Continuing to one up himself on each subsequent release, his unique brand of soft pop is geared to the masses, but at the same time has sort of an alternative feel to it as well. During our conversation with the artist, we got to the root of his influences, production, and so many more fun talking points.

Fresh off the release of her third overall single titled “Pills N Candy”, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with emerging artist, Mainza. Originally from Zambia, but raised in Massachusetts, Mainza’s consistently been influenced by all sorts of musical genres. That’s flowed directly into what she’s making as everything that has come out so far has been a little different. Embracing an 80’s aesthetic on her latest “Pills N Candy”, it was an honor to get to speak with Mainza all about the background of the track and where exactly she’s headed in the future.

Released in 2020, but still just as fantastic today, we got the opportunity to sit down and speak with Kester Chalkley about his newest record, An Evening With Kester. Inspired by his parent’s music taste and time as performers back in London in the 60’s, Kester Chalkley cleared learned a thing or two and translated it directly to originals of his own. On his record An Evening With Kester, this Australian-based artist has managed to infuse a slew of musical genres to create one cohesive and ultimately fresh sounding album. We’ve loved our multiple listens of it and getting to speak with the artist was the cherry on top.
