Joey Vitale, the Blues radio analyst joins J.R. for the season recap of the 2019 Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues. The Blues owned the best record in the Western Conference when the season was suspended in March, but they lost all three round-robin games in the bubble and were eliminated in six games by the Vancouver Canucks.

Should the Blues have returned to St. Louis earlier ahead of entering the bubble?  Both Doug Armstrong and Craig Berube spoke about the poor conditioning of the team, when they returned from the pause. What is the future of the often injured Vladimir Tarasenko?  Can the Blues sign Captain Alex Pietrangelo?  Will Jordan Binnington bounce back?  All these questions and more will be addressed on the season ending edition of We Went Blues.

Brian O'Reilly, the father of Stanley Cup Champion Ryan O"Reilly joins Jeremy Rutherford to discuss his son, the NHL's reigning Conn Smyth Trophy Winner and what makes Ryan tick.  Brian tells the origin story of Ryan's nickname snook, and how Ryan is coping, being in the Edmonton bubble away from his family, including his newborn son.

Brian, a high performance coach, who conditions athletes bodies and minds, shares his philosophy on training athletes, including Ryan, and his brother Cal. Brian shares an awesome story about a text message exchange between he and his son after game 2, that helped keep Ryan's spirits up and his mindset on point to continue to compete.

Brian also shares his thoughts on what he thinks might happen in game 6 between Ryan's Blues and the Vancouver Canucks.  This is a must listen podcast for any parent with an aspiring hockey player in the family.

Lou Korac from NHL.com joins JR for a new episode of We Went Blues, fresh off the Cup Champions losing their playoff debut vs Vancouver. In. fact, counting the exhibition game, the three round robin games and the game one, 5-2 loss to Vancouver, the Blues are o for 5 so far in the Edmonton bubble.

Lou and J.R, breakdown the Blues inability to stay out of the box, a penalty kill that struggled, and St. Louis' lack of goal scoring.

The guys also discuss the impact of missing Alex Steen and Ivan Barbashev, two of the Blues most important penalty killers. Plus, the struggles of Jordan Binnington in game one were noticeable, which may bode well for the Blues and Binnington, as he historically bounces back after a poor performance.

Lou and J.R. discuss the fantastic effort from reigning Conn Smyth Trophy Winner Ryan O'Reilly, but will need more from Brayden Schenn, Vladimir Taresenko and Jaden Schwartz ahead of game 2 on Friday.
