We Were Just Dumb

This week Jason and Mike continue on with the Duck theme and revisit the 90's Disney classic The Mighty Ducks. Currently streaming on Netflix this movie was the epitome of kids sports movies at the time. Did this one stand the test of time? Give us a listen and find out! Also we'll tell you the hardest part about rollerblading........

This week Jason forces Mike to watch the dumpster fire that is Valerian.  FYI Mike was not happy about this.  Luckily we washed the taste out of our mouths with a little Dunkirk but it wasn't quite the mouthwash we needed it to be.  If you haven't seen Dunkirk yet maybe don't listen, if you haven't seen Valerian yet, consider yourself lucky and listen anyway!

This week Jason and Mike visited the wonderful land of St. Canard with our pals Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn and Launchpad McQuack.  It was genuinely pretty fun and holy crap did we come up with some great ways to expand this universe.  Before you dive in give these episodes a watch if you can:

Episode 1 - Darkly Dawns the Duck Pt. 1

Episode 2 - Darkly Dawns the Duck Pt. 2

Episode 25 - Life, The Negaverse and Everything Else

Episode 20 - Just Us Justice Ducks Pt. 1

Episode 21 - Just Us Justice Ducks Pt. 2

Episode 53 - Stressed To Kill

Episode 47 - Dead Duck

Episode 52 - Time and Punishment

We took a time machine back to the Prehistoric Age to discern why none of these dinosaurs have buttholes!? Alas we failed our fact finding mission but we did record our thoughts on the movie, give it a listen!

We took a jog down memory lane for the jewel that is Fraggle Rock. This was a big Jim Henson creation of the 80's that aired originally on HBO GO and is currently and presumably always streaming there.

Here are the episodes we discussed so you can check them out before you listen!

8301 - 8317 - 8318 - 8319 - 8408 - 8520 - 8713

Let's Make Pattycake!

On this episode we dive into 1988's hit Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  A crossover of live action and animation that had never been done quite like this before.  This was a huge hit of our childhood and it didn't disappoint.

I Have The Power!!!! (of the penis!)

On this episode we drudge back through our childhood to the 80's hit cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. We picked a series of 6 "Greatest Hits" episodes and unfortunately sat down and watched all of them:

Amazon's Rule!

Our good fortune led to the two of us seeing Wonder Woman around the same time, so we decided to hop on and do a review:

For our inaugural podcast we decided to go with THE most classic of 90's teen shows in Saved by the Bell.  We watched all 6 episodes of the summer special Malibu Sands and share our thoughts here:
