Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis is sad news on a personal level - but has also become the subject of much political concern, with the Democrats left answering questions about how fit he was to be President throughout his term.

The worries about his cognitive decline go back to at least 2019 - and now we know that he probably had cancer for a large part of his presidency but - somehow this was not detected.
