James Crawford joins the Wealth Preservation Podcast and shares his truly unique story of inspiration and journey through entrepreneurship in Uganda. While he admits to not being a born entrepreneur, James’ interest in developing countries and the complexities of growing economies led him to not only start a Ugandan leather company, but to do it for-profit. This was during a time when nonprofits were incredibly popular, and James even had prior experience in the nonprofit arena. But while James has an incredible amount of respect for the work nonprofits do for their causes, he had a concept and conviction that in order to truly make a difference, he needed to be a competitive, for-profit company and use the profits to reinvest in the community.
