This is a big week because I have the joy and honor of celebrating our 2022 Women with Vision winners. This also serves as a reminder of the value and importance of recognizing and savoring our wins, whether it's a win of getting all the kids to bed on time or receiving a promotion, every single day is filled with wins that need to be acknowledged, because you are making forward motion, but if you are a spectator to your life, it will never feel like progress. This week I challenge you to start listing your daily wins as a way to record your progress and to celebrate it , because your are the author of your life. Wednesday Wisdom 6/14/2023
Last week I was asked to write an article about imposter syndrome. I have to share that before 2019 I had never heard of the term but through research and self reflection, I have discovered that I had also experienced imposter syndrome. A few of those signs are striving for perfection through over achieving, a fear of failure, discounting accomplishments, an unhealthy comparison to others and difficulty in accepting praise from others. We are all unique individuals with our own gifts, talents and strengths. No one will ever compare or measure up to another but you have the opportunity to be your best self.

Wednesday Wisdom 6/7/2023
Last week I attended our EPM Executive quarterly strategic in beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. In addition to planning our next quarter goals, we also put our focus on clarifying our mission and for me this was the biggest impact, because it hits me deep in my heart and it's so fitting that it was done during National Homeowners Month. We collaborated and created. Our mission is to preserve, protect and promote (TAG) The American Gift of homeownership. As part of our discussion we shared, what does the word "home" mean to us. This is where it hits us , because it's such a special word and feeling to all of us. Words like , Love, Comfort, Peace, Joy, Family, Acceptance, Memories, Warmth, Freedom, Belonging, Laughter, Community. Now I want all you Mortgage and Real Estate professionals to stop and realize that you are part of the impact and you make a difference.
Thank you for all that you do and keep sharing your message because it is life changing.

This week it's all about measuring backwards.  As we plan the 2nd half of 2023, I want you to look back at what you accomplished from Jan-May & start tracking your weekly progress lookin back one week.  For example if you made 20 sales calls last week do 21 this week or if you posted on social media 2 times go for 3.  See, monitoring your progress in short increments allows you to improve without getting distracted by a goal that seems like it's unattainable in the future.  YOU GOT THIS!!  #measuringbackwards #wednesdaywisdom #mondaymotivation #sayyeseveryday

Wednesday Wisdom 5/24/2023
This week I had the pleasure of attending the WWV Mastermind, where our topic was managing up. I have to be honest , I have never heard of this term , but Wow, it was was eye opening and one thing that Nejet mentioned was, impression vs influence. We are told early on to make great impressions, but, part of benign leader is to go further. It's leaving a lasting impact of positively influencing all that we come in contact with. So while impression may contribute to influence, influence typically implies a more substantial and lasting effect on someone's life. Always know that we all leave an imprint on the heart and minds of others, make a good one!

Last week I had the honor of presenting at the 2020 Vision Your Success webinar and my topic was getting better everyday. Now I know that it seems easier said than done, but it really is because instead of focusing on your energy, effort and focus on beating yesterday. Foe example, if you contacted 20 referral partners last week then set you goal for 23 and keep increasing that # each week , because you can control the effort and action. Keep looking at every section of your business and personal actions to improve 1% everyday. Your compounded efforts will take you higher than you ever imagined.

Wednesday Wisdom 5/10/2023
I attended the 39th annual MBANJ conference and there were so many valuable takeaways, but the one that resonated the most with me, was during our industry leader panel and we were discussing past cycles. In that moment I started thinking back to when I first came into the Mortgage industry and then 2008l, 2014, 2018 and now. See each of these cycles taught us different valuable lessons, but all of them showed us that we are resilient and if we sit around discussing what we can't change it only makes us frustrated and doesn't allow us to lead our teams. This week I encourage you to go back to basics, because when I was doing 45% cash out refi's in the late 90's, I never thought to get upset about it because I was excited for the opportunity to build a career. We all have the greatest opportunity to educate and guide our families and referral partners.

Today I want to cover 2 topics
1- A Yes mindset, do you know that we are told No around 150K times by the time we are 17 verses only 50k Yes's? As we go through life we stand back worried that we will receive a No or we may make a mistake, but when you live a Say Yes mindset you realize that every day is an opportunity to make the most out of life, so turn your No to a Yes. Don't leave anything on the table you were meant to thrive.
2- I want to share a new word with you "PRONOIA" it's the belief that the world is conspiring in your favor, which is opposite of Paranoia. Spread the news that your time is now and you have everything you need to share your light.

This past week I finished reading the book , technology of intention.
The premise of the book is the concept that what we focus on is what we magnify and grow.
This week I want you to be strategic on what you direct your attention and energy on, because it directly impacts the things that become more prominent in our lives.
Remember by focusing on positive thoughts, actions and outcomes, we can create a virtuous cycle that leads to more growth and success in our lives.
