Weeds Seeds & Beautiful Things

Today on the show, I'll be sharing my heart with you. We will go deep into the behind-the-scenes importance of being stable and submitted in seasons of waiting. God sometimes calls us to stay little (for a while) and cultivate faithfulness in the little he has given to us, even when we feel ready to take on more.  But, rest assured! He will move us out into broader pastures... when the time is right.

Hi friends! Welcome, welcome! I'm going to be going over a passage of scripture that has been encouraging to me. I know I am not alone in the struggle of working/striving. This episode will offer you a refreshing reminder to roll all those works onto the Lord and breathe in His rest.

Hi friends, I'm so excited to share this episode with you! I am sharing the speech (in a much shorter form) that I had the privilege of giving at one of the correctional facilities here in Oklahoma. Speaking in the jail was a remarkable experience. I can't tell you how much the Lord longs to meet with us, no matter where we are. He can move in the darkest of darkness, turning it into the most glorious light. I hope you enjoy it. Be sure to check out the new website, www.weedsseedsbeautifulthings.com, to read the weekly blog, shop the cool merch, and listen to the podcast, all in one spot! I'd really appreciate a good word spread to your friends and family, or a comment if you have been blessed by the show. Thanks

Hi podcasting pals! Do you ever feel like God, more often than not, takes us the long way around? I mean, so often I'm like, why is this taking so long? I know, and agree, that's not good to do, but I just find it so hard to trust and wait.

Anyone else??

Well, I'm certainly always trying to learn how to follow Jesus better, even when it's hard to do. But, I am thinking there's got to be a special blessing and new level of trust we will reach when we can submit to just wait on the Lord's provision and timing.

Join me today to discuss a Bible story where we see first hand, the Lord take His children the long way around, and why He chose to.
