Join the conversation as we explore the enduring power of faith, drawing scripture from Isaiah 43. We'll investigate the compelling themes of redemption, the significance of a name, and Godโs timeless promise of unwavering presence. We'll also discuss the impact of trauma and the pain it leaves in its wake, and how, through faith, we can harness this pain to propel us towards the freedom and redemption God intends for us. Listen and discover how, even in our deepest sorrows, God's perfect timing brings what we need right when we need it to help us overcome.

Can you love someone unreservedly, even when you know it will lead to personal pain? In a remarkably candid conversation, I, Connie, share my own journey through such a predicament, highlighting the cost of limitless love and the toll it can take on your physical health - a challenging encounter with the shingles virus. I also share how this experience mirrored the unconditional and unending love that God has for us.ย
In the face of nerve-damaging trigeminal neuropathy resulting from shingles, I found myself questioning God's silence and apparent indifference. But I also share how this journey of suffering led to a deeper understanding of faith and God's goodness. I talk about the faith journey that started with the loss of my son, and how I chose to rely on God's goodness amidst all the pain. This episode is a testament to the power of faith, human resilience, and the profound love of God that is not determined by our circumstances but His very nature.

Ever wonder how you can live a life of peace amidst the turmoil? In my latest episode, I explore the profound messages in Psalms 16 and 32, demonstrating how placing God at the center of our lives can offer us peace even in the face of adversity. Together we explore the importance of viewing God as our chosen and assigned portion, our cup, and how this perspective can change the way we live our lives. Even in situations where our physical realities may seem harsh, we discuss how the Lord can anchor us to a peace that surpasses understanding.
But our discussion doesn't stop there. We also delve into the comforting power of faith in God. Trusting in Him, we discover, is a potent source of solace and satisfaction. As we traverse the inspiring terrain of Psalms 32, we uncover the liberating truth that no matter how great our external trials may be, they cannot reach the spirit within us. This episode is a faith-fortifying journey that will encourage and inspire you to lean into God's word. So, invite your family, your friends, and let's experience the strength and encouragement that can only come from the divine together.

Have you ever found yourself in a wilderness season of life, struggling to trust God's plan? Iโve been there too, and Iโm here to share my journey of faith and learning to lean on the Lord during these trying times. Through my own experience with pregnancy and battling anxiety, Iโve discovered the power of using fear to redirect me to faith, and reaffirm my belief in God's goodness. Join me as we delve into Deuteronomy 8:2, emphasizing the importance of remembering that we are not alone in our journey โ we are being led by the Lord and can trust that God is faithfully working on our behalf.
There's a paradox when it comes to success with God, as it often completely contradicts with what the world calls success. We'll explore how the perfect love of God sometimes calls us to carry loss and pain, rather than the victory and comfort we might expect. God is with us, leading us through our wilderness seasons, offering opportunities to experience His presence in a more real and tangible way. No matter what season you're in, remember that God is by your side, guiding you every step of the way. So, let's walk this path together and learn to trust in His unfailing love.

When Life Is Stressful We Can Still Trust In God
Friends, I am honored you are here. I pray you find encouragement as you listen.
When the winds of life continue to blow itโs easy for us to become tired. Tiredness ushers in doubt, and doubt, brings with it feelings of hopelessness. These are normal human emotions and a fairly normal cycle to fall into during seasons of persistent difficulty. When stresses are high it doesnโt seem to take much work to believe the negative reality around us that looks so real. A doubt-filled perspective becomes almost too easy to ignore.ย
When we begin to accept the negative perspective as truth, that will not only affect our current state of mind, but also, our current view of God. This is why itโs so important that we continually persevere in clinging to the right beliefs about God, especially, in times of intense pressure. Even when we cannot make sense of what we are we are walking through, we can hold fast to who our God is.ย
This is interesting, because, maintaining our right belief about God really isnโt tied to our circumstancesโฆ at all. This is hopeful for us, because, there is a space where we can rest in His goodness while everything around us shakes. There is peace in the unknown, because what is known to us, is enough.
There is the โnormalโ life, where we cycle in and out of endless insecurity and doubting the goodness of God. Or there is, as Watchmen Nee says, โthe โnormalโ Christian lifeโ, where we rest in the assurance of who He is despite what happens. So today, as you are facing your own personal stresses and tensions all tempting to lead into the easy path of hopeless doubt, choose trust. Choose it, because you donโt have to have all the answers to know that God is good. Choose trust, because there is more for you than a life of being a tired soul only beaten up by the struggle. You can be built up by it too!
